Hello again!
Thanks for your continued advice 🙂
I moved them back to bathroom bond for the time being because the mounting was too excessive, they are doing pretty well.
That’s so funny about the parsley thing lol. Actually I often give them parsley forage which I’ve stopped for now to see if it helps! The mounting has become less but they are…[Read more]

Plantain (plantago major) seeds are used by and for humans to make the stools firmer and pass more easily (yes, gross, but still…). Rabbits shouldnt be fed the seeds only (theyre sold in stores as a natural stomach aid for humans, and a type of “flour” made from ground seeds is popular as a flour replacement for gluten-allergics and people who…[Read more]

Put a wire grate over the litter. However, this wouldn’t be a good idea if your buns are prone to sore hocks.

I’m so sorry for your loss. ❤ It sort of sounds like GI stasis, but there are no guarantees.

It will probably come out shedding or him grooming himself, nothing to worry about.

M cinnibun won’t stop digging in the litter box. She digs and pushes it out. Most of the bedding and hay ends up on the cage floor. Any ways to stop this? I tried giving her other things to dig on but she still chooses her litter box, ugh.

Thank you! Oh no, good thing I don’t see them in the hay patch too often.

Thank you! Hopefully it is that, I went to search and it said to help buns with diarrhea, but these are the seeds head, so i’m not entirely sure.

I’m sorry for your loss.
It’s very hard to lose a bun, especially a young bun. It’s not possible to say what took her – practically all rabbit illnesses first present as inappetence. Rabbits hide any ailment extremely well, but when they can’t any longer, they stop eating. Sometimes the cause is something inocuous and the rabbit recovers with…[Read more]

To my sweet baby – Miffy (my cutest American fuzzy lop: Oct, 2018- Oct, 2021).
I had been extremely sad and almost had a breakdown after I knew Miffy passed away at my parents’ place. They had been taking care of Miffy since I left home for UK in September 2020. Miffy was always adorable, curious and lively nearly everyday. All of a sudden, it…[Read more]

Hmmm I dont think it’s anything to worry about, could be a bit of eye gunk that got stuck and will probably come out as he sheds.

Ooops just realized this is a really old thread. I’m going to lock it now to avoid confusion. @Tricia Glennon, we ask that members do not reply to old threads because the OP is unlikely to respond and more current topics can get lost.

I don’t think you need to do anything if the scab looks good. It will heal and then fall off. If you are worried, you could call your vet and ask.

I recommend looking for a rabbit rescue in your area, sometimes they offer boarding with their foster homes!

They are fighting for territory they have reached sexual maturity and it can be very dangerous. They need to be fixed . Then slowly monitor them after weeks once they heal and hormones are gone. You can still possibly keep them together as they are used to each other and have bonded but thw hormones are raging and until spayed or neutered it will…[Read more]

Two months is a long time. I would definitely not settle for just anyone as this is very crucial for your rabbit. I hope you find someone who can really help ans give him/ her the roaming area and adequate love attention and space they need
