It could be good idea to get a second opinion.
I dont know any vet that treats stasis with antibiotics, unless they believe that the cause of the stasis is a bacterial infection.

Hey Bam, thanks for reply. I am waiting for another second vet appointment.
So my vet consulted a specialist 2 weeks ago. Based on that assessment without seeing my bunny they told me to start antifungal as there is small growth of cyniclomyces(which is a normal gut bacteria in rabbit). My bunny started to have more watery stool after starting…[Read more]

If pneumonia is suspected, you must treat that first of all. That can’t wait. Pneumonia is very serious in rabbits.

I recommend blocking it off and putting something in it’s place around/attached to the barricade to let out that energy.
My Fable is a big chewer and effective at it, so I’ve done a lot of cheap toys for diggers and chewers. You can find them on my Reddit profile “Posts” here: https://www.reddit.com/u/WickandFable
I recommend the fleece digging…[Read more]

I’m back again, lol. My cinnimon had a digging problem when she was a baby but stopped around 1 year. Now she has decided to bring it back. Every time I have her out she goes to dig, always in the same spot. I have tried to block off the spot but she has gotten though it every time. When I get her out of the closet ( where the place she digs is )…[Read more]

LOL yes! My buns and cat all had their own stockings this last year, and in May I felt obligated to buy them a gift, because it was our 1st buniversary… Well, that was only six dollars! And then I bought them a 4th of July gift… two 4th of July gifts…

While the positive behaviours are continuing, no one is giving in to the other. They will snuggle for a bit then Glenn will groom Bella a little so I get excited and think he’s giving in but then it’s followed by mounting immediately after. Bella will…[Read more] -

What is your rabbits diet like. You also might need to move the hay in to a larger litter box to re-train. Since most rabbit eat and poop almost at the same time.

Not using litterbox: a month ago my bunny had GI stasis, now he is having persistent mushy poop. Since his stasis recovery, he is using his litterbox on and off for pee. Does anyone have the same experience with mushy poop bun peeing outside the litterbox? Now he is using a specific area to pee close to his litterbox but not using the litterbox…[Read more]

Yes, I have lots of time to make things and a dad that is willing to drill holes for my DIY bun projects.(Since I don’t know the first thing about carpentry other than how to drive a nail.)

Rabbits can still feel itchy even after the fleas are being killed. It’s the same with dogs. Their skin can have an allergic reaction to the flea bites and the more they scratch, the more their skin becomes irritated. So it can take some time for the irritation to resolve. Since it has only been a day, I would not be concerned yet. Give it a week or two.

That’s ok! Sometimes a nice gift is simply more attention and a few extra pellets 🙂

The BinkyBunny store always has a great selection of items to choose from 🙂
I usually do about $30 for both my rabbits, and will send cute photos via text to people who know my bun craze, haha!
I know Happy Rabbit Toys sells a wooden Xmas tree toy for rabbits, and if you have a charity budget this holiday, they do matched toy donation gifts to…[Read more]

Hi everybunny! I just wondered if anybun had done their bunny Christmas shopping yet? What have you bought for them? What is your bunny Christmas budget? I am planning to spend $16 on both bunnies, and then make some stuff. I have my eyes on a thingy on Amazon that hangs on the side of the cage/hutch/pen and has toys that attach to it. It is $10…[Read more]

Day 2 of stress bonding went ok. I did put them in the carrier together for a couple minutes last night, then today on the dryer for 5 min. They do seem to huddle together (don’t have much choice) while in the carrier together. Then I did 20 minutes in a small space. It was a storage ottoman, but again they were mostly trying to get out. I may try…[Read more]
