Yes, I have lots of time to make things and a dad that is willing to drill holes for my DIY bun projects.(Since I don’t know the first thing about carpentry other than how to drive a nail.)

Rabbits can still feel itchy even after the fleas are being killed. It’s the same with dogs. Their skin can have an allergic reaction to the flea bites and the more they scratch, the more their skin becomes irritated. So it can take some time for the irritation to resolve. Since it has only been a day, I would not be concerned yet. Give it a week or two.

That’s ok! Sometimes a nice gift is simply more attention and a few extra pellets 🙂

I try not to spend much, as I don’t really have a job, haha. I’m not really old enough. 🙂

The BinkyBunny store always has a great selection of items to choose from 🙂
I usually do about $30 for both my rabbits, and will send cute photos via text to people who know my bun craze, haha!
I know Happy Rabbit Toys sells a wooden Xmas tree toy for rabbits, and if you have a charity budget this holiday, they do matched toy donation gifts to…[Read more]

Hi everybunny! I just wondered if anybun had done their bunny Christmas shopping yet? What have you bought for them? What is your bunny Christmas budget? I am planning to spend $16 on both bunnies, and then make some stuff. I have my eyes on a thingy on Amazon that hangs on the side of the cage/hutch/pen and has toys that attach to it. It is $10…[Read more]

Day 2 of stress bonding went ok. I did put them in the carrier together for a couple minutes last night, then today on the dryer for 5 min. They do seem to huddle together (don’t have much choice) while in the carrier together. Then I did 20 minutes in a small space. It was a storage ottoman, but again they were mostly trying to get out. I may try…[Read more]

You can proceed with whatever method seems most suitable based on your observations. As you mention, you can try it and the concern is it will be the same dynamic– well, you tried!
Humping is common but is not always present in bonding. Neither of my rabbits ever humped.
I understand it seems confusing, but I don’t think it is– you just have…[Read more]

Thank you for your reply.
I haven’t been petting then too much as they nipped each other (and me!) If I pet one in front of the other. As they had been getting along great I have been getting some sneaky pets so I’ll stop that immediately.
We also today gave bought a brand new indoor hutch so we will set that up tomorrow and put them in. They…[Read more]

Welcome to BB! I’m sorry you’re going through this, and am glad you decided to post here.
I do not have experience with fleas, so I would refer these questions to your vet who has an idea of the severity of your rabbit’s condition. Also remember to clean your rabbit’s environment as well. It’s reported that if the problem is not gone, reapply in…[Read more]

Hi there everybody. I read this forum whenever I have bunny concerns but I haven’t made an account until now. Hope everyone is doing well.
I just have a question. My rabbit has fleas so I took him to the vet and he was given some Revolution. It’s been about 24 hours since and he’s still scratching a lot, so I’m just wondering how long it usually…[Read more]

Who is dominant is a discussion they need to work out. It’s not that he is confused, but he is unwilling. You can think of it from the other side, which is she is impatient and stubborn on demanding being groomed despite his disinterest in doing so. For the relationship to progress, one needs to “give in” to the other. There are times where two…[Read more]

Hi all,
I posted on her a few weeks ago about my two rabbits breaking their bond for the third time.
The advice I was given that they were probably not bonded and to re start the process.
We waited a few weeks then started again in a netural area using this bonding…[Read more]

Bunnies are now bonded and living together. They’ve been together for over a week now. Poops I expect. What frustrates me is the pee right outside the box. We went from one box in each pen to one box in the shared pen. Then I tried two corner boxes. Now I’ve got all three in there. Each has hay in it and they had a hay manager before I had to add…[Read more]

Update: My vet strated him on antifungal yesterday, they found small amount of Cyniclomyces in his poop. Vet contacted specialist, she said my bunny also might be having mild pneumonia, and they want him on Enrofloxacin again for 2 weeks. Now I said I might go with antifungals first and then see how my bunny responds. If not improving well, I…[Read more]

@GipsAndLenn, you can’t know this because you are a new member – but contrary to many other Internet forums, we ask members to not revive old threads. This is because rabbit knowledge is developing fast, both when it comes to medicine and enrichment and general understanding of rabbits.
I’m locking this thread now. Feel free to start new threds…[Read more]

Try and start a new thread, @GipsAndLenn. Older threads don’t usually get replies – and we aren’t supposed to reply to older threads to avoid confusion. I’m positive that if you started a new topic you’d get more help! ♡
