Hey all 😊

It’s officially been six weeks since we adopted our troublesome two, and here are some more pictures! Despite an eventful transition, I think we’re all pretty happy with one another haha

This is Fred and George, twinsies and napping experts.

A lot of people are here helping me out with my bunny. I do not have enough words to express my gratefulness. I already made an appointment with a new vet next week.

I’m curious too, but also scared that they will still have issues! I did another dryer session this morning and walked around with them, then had them on my lap for a bit. They seemed about the same as in the car.

Anyway, so I guess I’ll start them in the carrier next time (tonight or tomorrow), then put them in the ottoman thing and see how they do.

That sounds like a very positive session! Grooming is always nice 🙂

I wouldn’t add water yet (it usually just ends up spilling), but you can try adding some hay or giving them their salad during sessions. Sharing food is a very social activity in rabbits so that can help with bonding too.

Oh also, the last couple sessions Glenn has laid on top of Bellas entire head so they are in like a T shape, but her entire head is covered…. Do you know what on earth this behaviour is? I usually move him as I’m not sure how well Bella can breath when he does this.

That’s a good way of thinking about in regards to the behaviours! I will keep. That in mind then!

That’s a really great idea BZOO! I think we used to have a database of rescues as well, but a lot of the links aren’t valid anymore.

That’s great they did well in the car! Most buns don’t seem to get overly stressed from car travel, which is nice. I used to be so afraid of driving my buns anywhere, but after driving cross country with mine I’m a lot less worried about it! LOL

@DanaNM Yes she was spayed by the group we adopted her from.

I have a main gift which is the Christmas tokihut forage mat this year. Then 3 other gifts for each of my bunnies. I also don’t have a job yet because of age but I save my bday and Christmas money for this. I am planning on spending about 65 dollars this year.

The Oxbow Digestive Support tabs are perfectly fine — like many other commercial-made goodies for rabbits, they may contain ingredients that, in large quantities would not be great, but in small amounts as designed by good-quality companies like Oxbow, they rarely bring about issues in rabbits.

Thanks, Bam. I saw the article already. That’s why my heart is telling me that something is not right regarding his treatment. He needs to be assessed again. His poop definitely not watery, its a mushy poop, his bottom is clean though. It’s a mystery.
