    We really do love updates!

I agree with Dana on everything else too. And I think perhaps she should be kept on meloxicam at least for as long as you’re giving the Panacur. To prevent damage to the stomach lining, Pepcid (famotidine) can be given concurrently with the other meds. Pepcid is a pill though, so either you yourself or the vet needs to…[Read more]

    We love updates!

Did it seem like she was much better while on the antibiotics? It’s possible she needs a longer course, especially if she has a stubborn infection that wasnt fully cleared with past treatments.

That’s really good to hear her incontinence is better! Does the urine look sludgy? Pictures would be great. If you add them to your…[Read more]

    Hi all,

Just giving an update if that’s OK.

So I’ve been giving the antibiotics, anti-inflammatories with the panacur.

We finished the course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories 3 days a go. And this morning I’ve seen Heidi has returned to little dots of urine again on her puppy pads. I’m wanting to upload a picture of her most recent urine…[Read more]

    Baby stacking cups are popular.

Got any links to those, we can take a peek?

My only pet stroller experience is a cheapy from Chewy.  It has mesh that no one has ruined yet and for the price I paid, it is so worth it!($35).

Pheobe, my Pug pup, has dug at the mesh pretty hard, so far, so good.  But of course a bunny is probably gonna try chewing it.

Rather than a paper pellet, might try the crumbled paper litter.  This stuff is pretty awesome.  Absorbs a lot, light weight and doesn’t stick.

I use it in the area of their (open) cage they like to pee in, next to the litter box with pine pellets.  Also under the Guinea Pigs Aspen.

If you try it, the stuff marketed for cats is cheaper than th…[Read more]

She could perhaps be dreaming of sth nice?

Its a pretty unmistakable sound,  exactly like a little bumble bee. Its not the kind of sound that comes from breathing difficulties – that can sound like faint sobbing or even twittering.

Some rabbits snore when they sleep 😂

Thanks for your responses! That’s what I thought, except she only does it when she sleeps! Could she just be having a good dream?

I dont think you need to worry. There is no such thing as shedding too little.

Is Pumpkin spayed? Intact rabbits shed very much less than spayed/neutered rabbits.

Very true. I am pretty confident with my vet, partly because we got my Male rabbit Gipsy neutered there, but also because of there success rates!

Hello, I have a rabbit scratch board that was given to me by my mothers friend. I believe that friend’s husband made it, but I can’t be certain. She said it was specifically made for rabbits, but does not know the wood type. If anybody knows the word type I would be super grateful. What would you all suggest I do? They chewed on it a bit before I…[Read more]

Yes, buzzing is just a happy bunny sound. They do it when they are trying to win over a mate or simply out of excitement.

Yes, spaying is more invasive. But it’s definitely worth it in the end. As Wick said, it is a routine procedure. Just make sure you are comfortable with your vet. Ask them questions about their experience and success rate.
