Oh, welcome back and hello little monster 😀
I have a little rex monster myself now. 9 months old and so, so soft! And the same white underside as Oscar!

Is it you or the vet who have determined that his testes haven’t yet dropped? I’m asking because a rabbit can “pull in” his testes so you don’t see them. A vet can find them though. At 6 months, a male should have dropped his testes unless perhaps if he’s a very large breed (large breeds mature later).

I cleaned his chin with a warm water and a soft cloth.  It looks a lot cleaner now but it is still there.  It’s not a complete bald spot, nor is it scaly.  The appearance and situation is like the rabbit in this forum https://binkybunny.com/forums/topic/missing-fur-wet-on-underside-of-chinneck/
Since I’ve stopped giving him wet foods, it is no l…[Read more]

Hello,
i had been a member on here previously with 2 little angels who very sadly passed last year and left the biggest hole in my heart.
i decided to take on a little gremlin called Oscar, a beautiful little Velvet Rex. So i am now back and bringing Oscar to the forum.
i hope everybody has been keeping safe and well in my absence.

Yep, completely normal.

I think sometimes a bitter piece can sneak in there. Also, some bunnies prefer baby lettuces because they are sweeter. They will eat baby romaine, for example, but turn their nose up a mature romaine.

Admittedly, if it comes down to Bodhi wanting grooming and Salem being unwilling to do it, and both are persistent in that stance, you may have two rabbits who are incompatible. That being said, two single rabbits can still be generally stimulated by each other’s presence, especially if they aren’t aggressive consistently. I actually have two…[Read more]

If you can provide a picture of the set-up, that can be helpful! Rabbits engaging in their environment can indeed be loud, so there are small tweaks you can do to hopefully cut down on rattling and maybe redirect the energy to engagement items that are less overall noisy.

They really struggle being in a small space, but show positive signs in bigger spaces. I’ve been trying to use smaller spaces lately to get them to interact more, but it just leads to fights it seems. They will sometimes lay side by side in a bigger space and Bodhi grooms Salem, but Salem refuses to groom Bodhi, which leads to fights. Bodhi will…[Read more]

There’s no harm in getting one before it seems needed. Generally there is no age recommendation of when to transition — it is usually done in reaction to the owner noticing that their rabbit is, for one reason or another, reluctant to use higher-sided litter boxes.

Hello Everyone!
My male bun is 6 months old and in full-on spray phase. He was free roam until the spraying got to be too destructive so now he is kept in a pen. We were hoping we could get him neutered soon so he could free roam again, but his testes have yet to descend, so now he’s had to be in an enclosure for weeks. He’s been pretty great abo…[Read more]
