I agree. If she isn’t spayed, then it’s possible that this is marking “new territory”. The wetness though is something to be concerned about. But you’re saying it isn’t soaked… just some urine on the tips of her fur?

Daisy is about 1 1/2. She isn’t spayed yet but we will be getting her spayed soon. I clean her litterbox every 2-3 days. For the buns I have some boxes of Oxbow stacks hay, a bag of pellet food, pine pellets, water bowls, litter boxes, and critical care.

Oooh we just did all 4 buns nails today and I always feel like I should get a gold star. LOL

I’m always hopeful when a chase or circling can be stopped by me just yelling “HEY!”, rather than having to get in there and physically stop them.

I wouldn’t be concerned about the grunt and nip thing. She’s telling him “why the heck would I groom you when all you have done is tried to mount me”!  There are often some ups and downs as they sort things out. It does sound like a medical issue, and most likely dental. Dental issues are weird because there isn’t one thing that buns will stop eating. Some go off their pellets, some go off their hay, and others weirdly enough don’t want greens and go for crunchy stuff. It may have to do with the nature of the problem, but it’s hard to know.

If they are just stains then I wouldn’t worry about it, and the stains themselves can be very hard or impossible to remove safely. It will go away as she sheds her old fur as long as her environment is kept clean.

That does sound like she could have a bladder infection or possibly a kidney issue. Sometimes EC will also cause excessive urination and urinary incontinence. How old is Daisy, and is she spayed? Also, how often do you clean her litter box?

That is so common! That’s why we’re always harping on people who get “two sisters” as babies, because it seems like 9 times out of 10 one is a male!

And yes liver torsion is not always immediately fatal, and the surgery to correct it actually has a pretty high success rate. Definitely worth asking if they think it could be an option!

Hmm, it’s not a terrible idea, but I’m thinking to actually have a big impact you’d want to get a pair of clippers. I don’t think the level of trim you could do with scissors safely would actually help that much. Even just giving them a good grooming to remove as much loose undercoat as possible will help.
