Totally new spaces have always helped me too! You definitely laid all the groundwork for the bonder with all your hard work!

I would put the litter boxes at the edges closest together, since they spend so much time in them! Could you possibly have a bit more of the pens share walls? Ideally they could be fed near each other AND have the litter boxes near each other, but I would say if you had to pick one, go with the litter boxes.

If you have a tray over the bedding, he might not really be wanting to pee there. I would try using just carefresh with no screen or tray on top. Something about the soft texture really encourages buns to pee on it! Adding lots of fluffy hay in the box helps too.

Unfortunately some bunnies have really sensitive tummies to greens and pellets, and it’s not clear why. One theory is that they didn’t develop the normal gut flora when they were weaned as babies.
