From what I can tell it seems like it isn’t bothering her and I can see some hair growing back I was mostly wondering if there’s any specific veggies or fruits that can help with fur growth.

    Hi everyone!

I am looking for some help on treating sore hocks. Butterscotch is a rex, so I am aware she is just prone to sore hocks, but this is our first time having them. She has plenty of fleece and I clean her litterbox daily. I am applying Vaseline on the wound once or twice a day (as often as she will let me). The wound is not cracked or…[Read more]

How old is your bun? If she’s starting puberty, this could be about pee marking.

Unfortunately, rabbits do like to pee on soft things, like beds and sofas and blankets.

The hair loss was probably due to the skin being constantly wet. If the drooling has stopped, the hair should grow back now. It can take time though, depending on where in the shedding cycle she is. (Rabbits dont have continous hair growth).

Its a bit difficult to see on the pictures, but does her skin look healthy? Has her vet seen the hairloss?…[Read more]

My Bunny was drooling and was checked out by the vet and it was because she had an irritated lip line. She finally has stopped drooling but now she is missing fur around her mouth. Is this normal. If so what can I give her to help encourage fur growth?

I had my lop bunny out and he comes in to the living room and starts rolling about on the couch like a puppy and laying on his back. It was all going well and I thought it was so cute until he started wanting to sink his teeth in to me. I got bite 3 times. one was right in the belly button and then again on my back and then again on my hand. I’ve…[Read more]

Thank you again for your kindness I appreciate it. Just didn’t want to have to take anything else away from my son if I didn’t have to. He already seems very attached to the bunnies. Although of course that’s because he has the easy job of just observing them 🤣

I’ll be keeping a close eye on her, it could be that she is not going to be as stocky as the others. If she continues losing more weight that becomes unhealthy I’ll try get her some help. She isn’t displaying any obvious signs of illness.

Hi there. Looking for a little advice as the information I’m getting online could be several things and there’s not much I’m able to ascertain from it at the moment.

We have four rabbits, two indoor and two outdoor and today was time for a bum check. Admittedly, we haven’t done this for a while, probably too long if I’m being honest (we’ve…[Read more]

    Hi,

So my bonded pair currently live in a playpen/x-pen and I have been thinking of ways I can improve their habitat. One of these ways would be to have them free roamed in my bedroom. This is only an idea as I still live with my parents and they are concerned with leaving them alone in my bedroom for long periods of time (they do occasionally…[Read more]

They can be in the same room, separate pens. They are probably both girls. BUT… we have had some cases of mistaken identity on the forum. Even breeders can be fooled sometimes, especially when the bunny is very young. It doesn’t hurt to have the vet confirm for you now that they are older.

Yes, bunnies can be a lot of work. Much more than…[Read more]
