I should have added in my original post that it’s male & female indoor and male & female outdoor and all four had some form of this.

All rabbits are up to date with their annual jabs for things like Mxyo etc.

She has been both eating and pooping normally. I do think she has been eating hay a little more frequently due to how many times she goes to the litter box to pee

It’s not normal that she overheats like this, but it could have to do with the bad situation she came from. Giving her cold things to lie on and keeping the room temp low are great measures. Your rabbit’s pee is diluted because she drinks so much. That means it has very little smell. Rabbit pee typically doesnt stink though.

Polydipsia and polyuria just means excess drinking and peeing, it doesnt say anything about the cause.

She’s drinking a lot of water, still quite a bit more than she previously did (before I noticed excess peeing). Does excess drinking pose a problem especially when she’s peeing more often too?

Well I’m glad she is getting more comfortable but sad she is choosing to express that by peeing on my bed lol. (good thing I was smart enough to keep a waterproof mattress protector on my bed lol).

You’ve only had her a month? Sounds to me that perhaps she is just becoming more comfortable and has decided to start “claiming” new territory. Bunnies are notorious for wanting to pee on soft surfaces, especially ones that smell strongly of their human.

The behavior you described sounds like belly pain. But that may or may not be related the the excessive peeing.

Bunnies will be bunnies, but some can definitely get into more “trouble” than others. Have you thought about bunny-proofing your room and allowing free-roam during the day? Then they could be “put to bed” at night in a pen or condo so they won’t be running around while you’re sleeping.

Have you tried putting memory foam mats under the fleece to add more cushion? Also, some members have tried sore hock booties sold on etsy and they seemed to help.

Hmm… assuming it isn’t cause by an infection (yeast, syphilis, etc.) or sludge, then it could be environmental. What type of litter are you using? What are their setups like?

There isn’t much you can do except wait. As Bam said, their fur doesn’t grow continuously.

My bunny does this pretty much every time she loafs!! I was worried about it at first for the same reasons and she is totally fine.
