I’m not sure lettuce will be enticing enough. Maybe a few slices of apple or some fragrant herbs, like basil? Rabbits also love raisins and 3olled oats, but those type treats dont gave a strong scent.

I do agree you have to get him out and it’d be great if you could get someone to help you.

he loves lettuce so I put some there if he dose not come out then I will just ask someone to come and completely strip the built in storage cus he needs to eat and drink

Is there any type of treat he can’t resist? It’s the only good way to get him out voluntarily I think.

I totally agree with you lbj10 but its been 3 days and im starting to worry more and more I tried everything at this point I don’t know what else to do……… after I saw his tail I calmed down then he went back in. im figuring out a solution id really appreciate it if you would give me some. <3

If you try the wood pellets, get the ones for horse bedding.

Wood stove pellets may contain additives.  So, if you end up with those, carefully read the label to be sure it is just wood.

See if your vet has a same day sick option.

I can call this in any morning, drop them off and they will get to them when they can.

I used those 6 mL ones for most syringe feeding until recently when I started using the 1 mL ones.

A litter screen would definitely be beneficial in preventing litter digging and eating, in addition to address concerns for sore hocks. As mentioned, the BB store sells screens that you can try! From my experience, pelleted litter is EXTREMELY fun to dig in. The only thing that worked was a litter screen from the BB store. It sits directly on top of the litter, so you can use whatever you want and it minimizes rubbing on their feet. Adding a layer of hay on top helps too.

Yes, is it possible to call around to different vets? Mites usually aren’t an emergency, but if he has scabs and extensive fur loss then that would suggest the infestation has progressed significantly. However, I would not necessarily blame the cat. It’s possible your bunny has had this for a long time.

Most of the time, they aren’t actually stuck. They just don’t want to come out. You would be surprised as how well they can turn themselves around, even in a small space. I agree with Bam, try coaxing him out with some treats.
