I can post again, woo hooo!
That said, I won’t do a full detailed journal, but with my trio even though we had a good start, my original male kept biting the new guy. He would seem fine and relaxed then all of a sudden a really hard full pulling bite, and many times on the face, so it was really hard to stop. It happened pretty much every…[Read more]

Hi Bam! Sorry for the multiple posts, I got an error each time so it didn’t look like anything went through!
I wanted to post on here first to say sorry about Bun Jovi. đ  With mine I started for a few weeks but things were not good so then took a long break (6 weeks or more), while my pair and the single lived with a barrier separating them a…[Read more]

I have to agree with the others, Thumper doesn’t seem to mind to be held but he definitely prefers to be on the ground while Blossom wiggles and kicks hard whenever I pick her up. Sincerely,Cinnabun (aka Morgan) on YouTube has a video on what she did to get her rabbit Cinnabun to tolerate being picked up so maybe that could help you?

I think Nationwide is the only one who has bunny insurance in the US

I’m sorry you are having such a tough time with them! You mentioned Bella is spayed, but can you confirm that Winnie is neutered? If not then that is your primary problem. My advice below assumes that he is neutered. Bella sounds like a fairly territorial rabbit in gerneal (those nethies are so fiesty!). Also the fact that she is blind in one of…[Read more]

LBJ10 replied to the topic can the weather affect behavior? in the forum BEHAVIOR 3 years, 1 month ago
Warmer weather, even with the AC on, can cause bunnies to be less active. They will lounge around a lot and not want to run around/play as much.

Yes both bunnies were in a neutral territory, an open space in a sense so they both werenât forced to possibly feel cornered or threatened. We put things in the middle that they would like (hay, toys, food). At first they would both roam and investigate where they were, but if Bella by some chance ended up getting closer he would sit still and s…[Read more]

Hotter weather can naturally lead to more “bleh”. Rabbits are more intolerant of hot weather because of the fur.
While a fan will circulate air, it doesn’t do much in terms of actually cooling the room. There are some tips here: https://binkybunny.com/infocategory/cooling-tips/ , https://wabbitwiki.com/wiki/Hot_weather_concerns
