Thank you JG <3
Moosie was around 11 years old now, so he definitely had a full life. Here got to be a cranky old dutchie man lol.
My ex is doing ok, he still has Squirrel, so one more bun in the nest still. Although Squirrelly is getting up there in age now, too. He’s still hopping around, has gotten very used to his deaf, mostly blind life.…[Read more]

That’s great you split them up and they seem to be coping well! And don’t worry, as long as they can see and smell each other they won’t forget. š

DanaNM replied to the topic SOS bonding help needed:( in the forum BONDING 6 years, 5 months ago
For this “pre-bonding” time, I like to actually switch which bun is in which cage/pen, rather than just litter boxes. Try to arrange things so their hay is near each other, so when they are eating hay they are able to see and smell each other. I also like to feed them near each other (on opposite sides of the fence). Eating is a social activity in…[Read more]

Unfortunately the vet does not think he is regurgitating the food. She thinks that the food is left over after eating that remains his mouth. She told me that rabbit typically will have some food in there mouth and they have to be careful when doing molar trims. They have to clean out their mouths before the trim. He had similar experience before…[Read more]

Hi Limadean,
Thanks for your reply, that is useful information! I’ve gone ahead and approved your post since it is helpful for anyone finding this thread, but we ask members not to reply to old threads to avoid confusion. This thread is 12 years old so I’ve gone ahead and closed it. But thanks for the concrete tube homework. I’ve bought the type…[Read more]

I recently got in touch with someone from Quikrite (The company that produces the cardboard tubes at many hardware stores such as lowes).
They informed me that theirĀ tubes are coated with a paraffin wax. Ā While I don’t believe this is particularly toxic to bunnies, it may cause an upset tummy if ingested. Ā That being said, it is a very thin coat.

Hi there, welcome!
That’s great he is already doing zoomies and flops, sounds like he’s pretty relaxed already! How long have you had him?
Most bunnies do not like being picked up. Is there any way you can allow him to get from his cage to his play area without picking him up? Maybe by making a ramp or some steps for him? Or moving his cage to…[Read more]
