Dana, I saw him on insta 🥰 Choux is a great bunny name, both pastry and cabbage!
We got a week of summer that lasted until the 10th. Buns enjoyed rain free afternoons in the run in my mum’s garden:

Hi!Ā I’m new to the forum.Ā My question is whether anyone with a free-roaming bunny has had experience with getting new carpeting.Ā My husband and I would like to get wall-to-wall carpeting installed but are concerned that the off-gassing might be harmful to our little Spud.

I have personally had good luck with Azithromycin, but some say it can reduce appetite. So can Baytril though. Well… any antibiotic really. It really just depends on the bunny. It’s really going to depend on what bacteria is actually causing the symptoms.

I’m sorry @HareIvoryWhiskersĀ š That sounds like a lot of unnecessary drama and it can be very frustrating to see animals being mistreated online.
In happier news that some of you may have seen on Insta, Myra had a wonderful date with a very sweet bun so we adopted him! His shelter name was Creampuff, his foster had been calling him Puff. We’re…[Read more]

I’m sorry, HazelIvoryWhiskers.
If its hot out, Bramble could be drinking more bc of the heat. Hot weather tends to mske buns a lot less active. Signs of sth bad going on would be if you see him strain to pee, dribble pee all over the place, or, if he unexpectedly pees a lake in places where he doesnt normally go. I’m glad you took him to the vet…[Read more]

Thank you so much for replying, your comment is making me feel a bit better. It’s been 4 hours and he is still acting normal and pooping normally, thankfully. I’ll take your advice and continue monitoring him. Thank you so much, really really thank you!!

My September is going awful rn. On the first I saw a friend of my step-mom and dad post pictures on FB. She found a young wild baby bunny and took a lot of pictures of herself holding them. Then pictures of the baby bunny with her autistic daughter whom is 4-5 years old and not good with animals. Of course they weren’t being handled properly. You…[Read more]

Normal hand soap isn’t toxic, so I think your bun will be fine. Soap is very fatty though, so he could get a stomach upset and have weird poop for a while. Rabbits can’t swallow big chunks of stuff, they chew everything meticulously (and that’s a good thing). He must’ve found the taste appealing.
Try to keep him well hydrated by offering wet…[Read more]

<p class=”_1qeIAgB0cPwnLhDF9XSiJM”>In the night, I give my rabbit a few pellets so he was hyper for food. I was moving stuff around and a bar of soap fell and he ate a chunk of it :(</p>

His last course was 2 weeks but the course of 2 weeks before that was only like a week later. Maybe even a little less than full week. Trying to find my notes but it was not a big break between the 2 at all. Any other suggestion for other antibiotic? Iām going to call the vet and ask to see her notes, I know TMS was the one that he didnāt like wit…[Read more]

Youāve described my past frenchie to a T.
he always ate and drank a ton but couldnāt keep weight on him. He was 5kg for years, and then dropped to 3.8kg. It was horrible. He was diagnosed with EC which Iām sure absolutely wrecked havoc on his kidneys, because he also was incontinent. He never made it to his recheck to see how much his kidne…[Read more]

I have my girl scheduled for a rhinostomy hopefully this week. History of chronic snuffles for the past few months that will not respond to treatment so this is our last resort as all other treatment as failed. She is 7.5 years old and while I know she is older to undergo such a procedure, she is so incredibly fit and active otherwise and her…[Read more]
