I will also add that bringing her to the litter area every 10min may confuse her. Typically, you want to bring the rabbit there immediately after or right before an accident, so the association is made. Bringing her there without a pattern may make it a place of frustration for her.

A splint and bandage sounds good to me. I gather the vet believes the ligament is partly ruptured, otherwise I think they’d suggest surgery. The bun should not hop around too much these next few weeks, so cage rest will probably be necessary.

Dorian loafs a lot, he varies between what we call the bun or the baguette (he basically just gets super long and melted, but the back legs don’t kick out all the way). In evening he’ll flop and do the side lounge (forgot what she called it)

My bunny’s a 3.5 month old mini lop called Tybalt and he’s very playful, confident and sweet/affectionate I’d say 🙂

Thank you all so much! Hunny hasn’t eaten anything yet today (as far as I know). She has a fabric tube she likes to sleep in and has spent the day hiding in there. It kinda makes me nervous to see that. It’s hard to be patient lol. She has done a few poops in the tube; they are normal-sized but bean-shaped or ovals…

Ditto Louiethebunny! Tybalt loves sleeping in a loaf or the flop – sometimes when I’m working on my laptop on the bed I’ll hear a light thud only to look over and see he’s just flopped and is in a blissfully deep sleep haha

Those corner boxes are almost always too small. I have seen people use covered ones but they remove the door flap. I also think it’s important to have good air flow because rabbits have sensitive respiratory systems and you wouldn’t want pee fumes building up.

For a bunny that young it might not be possible, just like baby humans! Things might improve as she gets older, then get worse again when she hits puberty, but once you get her spayed things should improve a lot for good.
