Molting can cause tummy trouble. If you suspect he has a little gas, you can give him 0.5-1 ml simethicone baby gas drops. Gas can be painful for rabbits and pain makes them lose their appetite.

If yo cant hide the meds in his food, I would suggest you try to get someone to hold your rabbit  while you give the meds. The rabbit can be burrito-ed, which means you wrap it in a towel so it cant squirm. The pressure from the towel has a calming effect, like a thunder shirt for a dog. Another frustrating day so far, today. Hunny did a few miscellaneous poops in her corral, but that’s it. She won’t eat, save for a little bit of a strawberry top she nibbled. If he’s eating you could try to hide the medicine in his food? When my rabbit was ill and refused medicine we injected it into hollowed out grapes which he happily ate. Felt a bit weird preparing the grapes lol but it worked!

He didn’t eat his full portion of pellets in the time that he usually does but he did eventually finish them. He has been eating hay but its a little hard to tell how much as I just put his hay in a large pile in his litter box. He molted 2ish weeks ago but he might still be in that phase…?

It is always an observandum when a bun poops less. Does he eat his full portion of pellets? Is he eating his hay? Is he molting just now?
