Please note the discussion of intentional breeding is prohibited on this site. As a result, many of us will not have experience with or knowledge about pregnant rabbits.
I don’t know if there are specific ingredients in soda that are especially toxic, but I imagine it is a high concentration of sugar. Rabbits tend to nibble on things they should…[Read more]

So I have a pregnant rabbit named Buster. Sheβs due in a few days. I accidentally left out a cup of root beer and later found her drinking some of it. Is it gonna affect her or her babies?

Thank you for taking in sweet Fresno and giving him the love and care he so deserves, but obviously never got before.Β I hope it will work out that he bonds with one of your bunnies and you can keep him in a wonderful forever home.

FYI I looked into that bitter apple spray once and some people said their bunnies liked it more! lol

OMG what a rascal!
I don’t really know what to suggest other than to hang on and wait for neuter day. Puppy pee pads might be really helpful in the meantime as long as he doesn’t eat them.

@Liv you know it’s funny, vinegar IS what is usually used to deodorize.
But I had this situation where my girl would NOT stop peeing on this one area of the carpet. I kept cleaning it with vinegar, and she kept peeing on it. It was maddening because her box habits were pretty good otherwise. I then went and sniffed the area and it smelled SO…[Read more]

Yup, Hunny is about the same weight! I’ll give those amounts a try. I just hope my girl can eat them. Her recent chewing problems aside, she has never had pellets before and is either hesitant or disinterested in new food. She’s such a diva lol

DanaNM replied to the topic long road trip with rabbits in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years, 3 months ago
I think it would be important to take long breaks where you can let them out of the carrier in an indoor location (such as a hotel room) with no chance of escape, so they would actually feel safe.Β Plus shorter breaks where they stay in the carrier but the car just isn’t moving. How frequently kind of depends on your bunnies. Some bunnies do…[Read more]

I feed the same brand, my bunny loves them. Pellets are good for rabbits, in moderation. Hay is great for keeping their teeth as well as their digestive tract in tip-top condition, but it has very little nutritional value. A rabbit that doesn’t get any pellets would need a huge amount and variety of different vegetables to get all the nutrients…[Read more]

Agree with others about puberty, that seems likely give his age. One other thought, could there have been any new or different smells on you or in your home? Such as other animals (like a neighbor’s dog), new cleaning products, new perfume, etc? Bunnies are very smell oriented so if he smelled something different he might have gotten scared and…[Read more]

Hopefully lol. We’re all such strong-willed people with different opinions. We all have some form of anxiety, and we all love Hunny. Not only is the situation frustrating, but our interactions are because we all want the same thing but go about it different ways.
I just pray we have a breakthrough with this pellets. The vets have really been next…[Read more]

I’ll try π I just worry about friction from my family because we’re all so frustrated with this situation. If Hunny loves them, my mother especially (due to hating Critical Care time) will want to give our girl as many as she can eat. My voice is usually silenced pretty quickly.

Yep, that’s a very good brand. π Start off by offering just a teaspoon for a couple days (even if she loves it), to allow her tummy to get used to it, then slowly work up to the recommended amount based on her weight.
