I’ve heard that car rides actually relax rabbits,  the only precaution I would recommend is to keep the temperature in the car 75% Fahrenheit or below since that is the temperature rabbits prefer. Other than that, I hope you and your bun enjoy your car ride, and all goes well! 😀

Treating her for EC wouldn’t do any harm even if she doesn’t have it. And as has been mentioned already, the test is notoriously unreliable. The vets (and certainly a specialist) should be aware of both of these facts, so I don’t know why they would refuse to treat her. Especially since they don’t really have any other answers.

The neurologist said nothing about E.C., and none of the other vets/specialists think it’s a good idea to treat Hunny for it, thus my family doesn’t, regardless of what I may think. I do get the feeling that somethings bunnies see chasing as sort of a game. Almost like they are teasing the other bunny. Like human siblings where one keeps pestering the other one to the point that the one being pestered goes into a rage and a chase ensues.

I agree, maybe the flop is like a “haha, you chased me and now I don’t care”.

So the neurologist does think it’s something neurological? But nobody wants to continue the EC treatment just to be sure? I think that if it is a neurological problem, it is much more likely to be EC than this condition that affects dogs. That’s just my thought.

Happy July! I’m both sad that the year is going fast but excited for nicer weather to come back around. I have an outside job, so working in this 100 degree heat has been more than unenjoyable.
