From your post, I assume she isn’t spayed yet. The body starts to experience changes before full-blown puberty hits. So yes, hormone-driven is likely the reason. Also… bunnies like peeing on soft things that smell like their human.

Louie is for sure super spoiled, but he LOVES it. He’ll toss a few toys around, flop over, and call it a day.

I wonder if my bunny is peeing out of spite. We litter trained her and she’s usually pretty good. I work from home and sit at our dinner table, which is a diner booth. My bun does play with his toys for most of the day, but at 4 or 5 in the morning I might hear him gnawing on his Oxbow play table. He loves breaking open “treat toys” and I sometimes shake his toys in a bad of freeze-dried banana so he’s more tempted to chew.

It does sound to me like you are doing everything right! How much space does she get to roam around in, and for how many hours a day? It sounds like she has a lot of space, but just checking!

we just got Louie a new rug! it was fifty percent off and our old one was too shaggy and he was starting to pick it and dig at it. this one was a pretty good deal and he already likes it!
