Just wanted to ask; had the spot or area in her eye changed at all? A white spot in the eye can also be caused by a fat or calcium deposit. And I assume the vet ruled out injury?

Since the vet mentioned it previously and they have Bernard weight on file, could you ring and ask them to decant some panacur for you to pick up?

I know someone who has had a rabbit die from a heart attack, from a cat. So I would personally not try to bond them, but others have had different experiences with bonding them, so it all really depends (as stated above) on their personality.

My mother had a rabbit and a cat many years ago and they got along well, the rabbit usually chased after the cat, so depending on the personalities of each animal, you might have to make some small adjustments. Some rabbits love chasing the cat, so if the cat is tolerant of it, it usually works out well.

Is she young? Sometimes when baby rabbits molt and start growing in their “adult” coats, they have new colorations. It could also be staining from sitting in the litter box, it happens. She could also have urine staining her fur.

Growing things inside doesn’t work too well for us either… we have a small herb garden outside our front door of several high pots with herbs for cooking and for Louie.

My method is clip, treat, clip, treat. I have been picking up Louie’s feet so he grows to tolerate it, and every time he lets me hold his foot or clip a nail calmly, i give him a little treat.

I agree with @DanaNM. Post-op can be a time of tension because of the hormonal fluctuations. What’s most important is they both stay safe and aren’t endangering themselves or each other. A much more secure, permanent bond can then begin to form afterwards 🙂

What a little scamp that Louie. Have you tried a shower curtain or such for when you aren’t home for your bed? Dorian is has his couch privileges revoked for similar reasons. Bed so far has ben no issue, but he’s only in my room when I can actually supervise. Good luck wit your little little mischief maker, it’s lucky they are so cute 😀
