How are you handling her when administering the meds? I found it so much easier and less stressful to “sit” on them. I would sit on my knees and tuck them between my legs. Perhaps my buns just preferred having all 4 feet on the floor, but there was way less struggling compared to trying to do a burrito.

It wasnt your fault and I think she was in such a bad way that the fluids wouldnt have made a difference at that point in time. But it was the right call, feeding her more CC is counter-indicated when there’s a blockage. I agree with LBJ. Mushrooms in garden beds tends to mean the soil is good and healthy. Obv make sure no broken off parts of the mushrooms get served to the buns. Most mushrooms aren’t super toxic, but a cpl years ago I had a gyromitra false morel growing in one of my pallet collar veggie beds, and that’s a *very* poisonous mushroom.

Mushrooms can’t really contaminate vegetables beyond perhaps some spores on the surface. I personally wouldn’t be concerned, especially if the veggies are washed well.

It sounds like getting her to the vet was the right choice! Hoping she gets better quickly 🙂

I’m glad you at least got a better idea of what it going on with her. It sounds like multiple issues that have just started to snowball.

Good point Wick! I had a bunny that was prone to little bouts of gas. He would usually snap out of it pretty quickly though, sometimes without simethicone or anything.
