I think teaching tricks could be really good, she is pretty smart so maybe tricks will help burn off some of her extra energy. Thanks for the idea!

Also, I do have cable covers on the wires. She was nibbling at the wire covers so I rubbed soap on that so she wouldn’t nibble anymore. Definitely no bare wires in the room she’s in!

It seems Hunny is having an off-day, today. She is hardly touching her chopped greens and only taking occasional bites of pellets. 50% of rabbits carry this parasite so I would be interested to know why he has immediately ruled it out if he hasn’t tested for it.

It’s always a good idea to have an actual vet appointment though. Let us know how it goes!

I wouldn’t worry about your other buns. Many bunnies carry this parasite without ever getting sick, and most are born with it from their mums. Some vets will recommend treating all bunnies, some will just recommend treating the sick one.

I just wanted to pop in and say CONGRATS!!

and personally I do multiples of stuff for one bun, especially with water as I want to make sure if it gets knocked over or stuff tossed in it he has another source if I don’t notice right off. But I don’t think it’s critical, just what has worked for me.

My vet has not tested for that yet. Based on his history/tests, he thinks that is unlikely, he wants to see him before he decides what is next. He has an appointment on Tuesday.

My money is on Peter being the dominant one, for you haven’t seen Benji nipping or chasing have you? I don’t know, you could keep them together, but I would be wary, and watch them closely. Sorry if this wasn’t a satisfying answer. <3

Ouch! Sounds like Pinky is going to be giving you a LOT of trouble! I’m guessing that the poop and pee were because he smelled Muffin, and the cage biting was because he wanted more time outside. You said he was neutered about two weeks ago? It takes around a month for hormones to officially drain out, so hopefully, he will settle down then.
