Very messy! And yet, for some reason the act of ripping the pages always seems so satisfying.

If it is a pulled muscle, then yes it should heal with time. The only treatment would be rest and possibly pain meds. If she had that kind of injury, I would worry about a torn ligament. Does the joint still feel solid?

Baylor is such a Flopper! He flops over all the time, I even have it on video! His favorite places to flip are by the door, and on cold surfaces (tiles & the cold vent)😂

Thank you so much! I don’t think he will appreciate the belly rubs as he hates being held and has been manhandled for 2 days lol he just took his metacam and is splooted out, and has been nibbling consistently since he got home.

It sounds like you are doing a great job so far, my only suggestion is more patience, maybe try a little LESS (play hard to get! LOL), and possibly train her to go into her carrier. As long as he’s pooping and it isn’t totally liquid, I wouldn’t be too concerned. Mucous in poops can happen after stasis, and he also could have a bit of cecal imbalance.
