I just gave him a few more veggies with water on them, he’s eating them all. Hopefully he’s okay.

@Louiethebunny Oh wow!! Thanks for the tip. Muffin mostly gets it all in the box, or at least tries. Pinky was pooping more outside the box and sometimes peeing I think. But mostly in the box until I let them out for playtime separately and he smelled Muffin’s scent around the room. Or at least I think that’s why he poops so much outside the box…[Read more]

Such an adorable bunny!!! I like when she tipped over the bed. 😆 She looks similar to my boy Pinky! Do you know what breed she is? 🙂

honestly, because you are going to bond them somewhat soon, I wouldn’t worry TOO much about litter training. Lola came to us with bad litter habits that got worse with cage swaps, so now that her and Louie are bonded I’ve really been pushing the litter training and she’s almost perfect!

Louie accidentally ate a tiny piece of tape when I wasn’t looking, so I just fed him soggy veggies and he was fine.

@Bam Thank you so much! He had already eaten his salad for the day but ate his pellets after the tape. I’ve seen him eating hay today but I’ll put more in just to make sure. Good to know other buns have survived eating tape. 😓

We have had tape-eating buns here before. Rabbits can, as most pets, eats the strangerst things, but a good thing about rabbits is that they tend to chew what they eat very well. When the tape lands in the bunny tum it is no longer inte the shape of tape.
The best thing is to try and encourage him to eat hay (hand feeding can inspire a bun to eat…[Read more]

Awesome! Yes, he was on my front yard. My stepfather approached him with a carrot and he just came and ate it and he grabbed him. He is really calm and docile and he likes to run a lot 😀

If they’re making a habit of ganging up on Smokey, it might be worth doing some one on one bonding sessions with Smokey and each of them?

I reckon you got yourself a little Rex then. 🙂 Did you just randomly find him outside?

@Danny Thanks! He’s still doing it but mostly on the corners now. I think it’s because his butt hangs off the side when he sits in it a certain way. He also stands halfway in sometimes. I wanna get him a bigger box when I can though, just haven’t been going out much because of covid. I can try the litter thing you mentioned with my other bunny…[Read more]

Update: So… their bonding is going… what words do I use… down the drain a bit. When I took them into semi-neutral, Silver and OB both chased Smokey around the room. I ended it there, but, oh, poor Smokey. Today wasn’t as bad, but they still chased her. *Sigh* Then to make things even more confusing for me, OB flopped next to her, and they…[Read more]

I left the room for a few minutes and came back and Muffin had a piece of blue painters tape in his mouth. It’s from when I taped down the plastic shower curtain that protects my floor. I took it out and it got stuck to the fur on his chin as I was doing it 😣. I got it out but he ate like a few centimetres of it. I’m worried it will get stuck som…[Read more]

@Danny : I agree with HipHopBunny, you might want to consider having her spayed. At 1-2 years old, chances are your female already has some abnormalities in her uterus.

Hi Danny
Thanks very much for helping too.
Her poos are darker at the moment than usual but not by much.
She poos lighter when I use standard lighter looking meadow hay in her litter tray rather than green hay that I’m using at the moment.
She’s also on timothy hay, oat hay, dreid dandelion and dried plantain. One small pinch of dried parsely…[Read more]

When the urine analysis was done, some amount of bacteria was found, but it was not growing. They put him back on antibiotics and I did the fluid treatment to help him flush out his system. He got better, but it was not a dramatic difference between any other treatments. He has never had any white in his urine. His first sign he is in trouble is…[Read more]
