There are some litter boxes meant for puppies and cats with limited mobility that have one low side, which might be helpful for him. Also plant potting trays are good litter boxes for buns with limited mobility (they have a similar low side). Is your girl dominate? My girl is disabled and I bonded her fine with the boy. I just pop him off when he’s humping her and she is trying to run.
Today I caught him humping her again (weird) They’ve been bonded for 6 weeks now.

He was never aggressive to her, no biting, no fights, just humping.

I think it could be done safely, but would depend on both bun’s personalities and the experience of the bonder. I’ve heard of bonded pairs where one rabbit has a disability, and often that rabbit is very submissive and it works out very well. Would a boot-tray work? They are large and shallow, but still have a lip. Hay might get everywhere, but if it’s surrounded with high walls, the hay won’t get pushed out too easily. I sat in front petting muffin and pinky and when I was just petting muffin, pinky started chewing his litter box because that’s what’s at the front of the pen now.😭😭😭 I can never win with him… Anything I put there he chews and digs up. I ended up moving his litter box there because he peed in that corner TWICE today… At least the second time was just on the cardboard I put down, so I stuck the peed on cardboard in his litter box. @bam he was initially peeing on himself and needing but baths the first few days after the stroke. But now he’s not, he’s lifting his tail and everything. Maybe he doesn’t realize he has to pee until it’s urgent. I don’t know.
