It looks clean, it must be kept clean. I would’ve thought this could perhaps have been a candidate for gluing, although gluing is pretty painful (it stings), maybe that’s why the vet didn’t opt for that. Stitches would as a rule require sedation, which always comes with its own set of risks.

I’m sorry he has an URI, but I’m glad he’s getting treatment. Fingers crossed this will resolve quickly wth the appropriate meds!

Update! Turns out Spike has upper respiratory infection and he’s been put on medication. I’m happy there’s something I can actually do about it now.

I just brought my rabbit to the vet to get the RHDV2 vaccination and while she was there I told the vet she had some matted fur near her crotch area. Apparently the vet accidentally cut her while getting rid of the matted fur. She told me there was some light bleeding and that she cleaned the area up so she should be okay, but when I looked at it…[Read more]

So I had an offer from a friend at the rescue (one of the lead people there) to work with them at her place. She bunny sits for me often and has bonded a lot of trios and pairs. So I took her up on it!
