Yesterday we lost our 14 year baby Roxie 💔 She was SOOOO smart, silly, precious, and a joy for all these years. Her arthritis was getting bad and as time went on she started to have a number of complications. She was soo strong and even in her old age she was still so playful and in the look out for her treats 🍌 My girlfriend had to make the…[Read more]

Hi,
We are new and excited to be here. I came cause I have a question and need help… I have had my darling sweetheart Sheepoo for about 8.5 years now and I have been feeding him Meadow Hay in the past so many years along with Timothy Hay.
I was thinking about adding and/or changing the Meadow Hay to Orchard Grass Hay… Any thoughts?!

What is her diet like? Perhaps it’s something she is eating that is causing the distress.

My 5 mon old Netherlands dwarf named Baylor tries to chew everything. Heβs gotten to a few of the baseboards, and I donβt own the house Iβm staying in so I canβt afford for him to destroy the house. Plus itβs a new build, which makes it worse. I let him out for free roam time, but he has to be in a fence because he will chew all of the baseboard…[Read more]

Hello, and very welcome to BinkyBunny! π
Separating them is unfortunately for the best. My ladies went through something similar, only, they were having false pregnancies. Silver was the first one, and oh, she was bad. She tore fur from the other buns as well as herself, so, as much as it pained me, I separated them. π₯ Smokey went next, and…[Read more]

Sorry to post this a few weeks late, but I wanted to chime in on my experience with this, although it won’t be very helpful at all. I had my Desmond James for 6 years and he went through the same exact thing, for the first few years he’d get GI stasis every few months or so, maybe 3 or 4 times a year and it was always pretty easy to treat. During…[Read more]

I forgot to add, her last xray showed gas, just not sure why it isn’t going away!
The vet also thinks it’s possible it hurts more in the morning after not moving for a few hours

Hi everyone. I’ve been reading every post I can find on his topic but just created an account to ask for experiences. Long post ahead..
My rabbit has taken 2.5 weeks to fully recover from stasis and still going. We have been to the vet 4 times, and I’m exhausted, stressed and extremely anxious. She actually started to eat and poop on night 1 but…[Read more]

Glad to hear you were able to get a diagnosis. The meds should clear it up.
