Do you have the connectors those grids typically come with? The way the grids are angled, you can probably put two connectors on the corners of the grid in the center and that will hold up a second grid.

Thank you both sooo much. This has been a struggle and it’s been very frustrating. I might try to raise the nic grids, but I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to get them to stand up when putting on a second layer. Something wooden and stationary is a great idea. It actually just looks like hiccups to me.

I recommend monitoring and if there are sustained changes for a day or two, then it may be worth visiting the vet. Everything you mentioned can simply be a temporary shift or just something you’re more alert about because you are already worried.
