This is what’s locally available. 10% paste, which would be…..25 ml dosing? (Note: this is, for legal reasons, all hypothetical)

shasbun replied to the topic Pinky ate soy sauce in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 11 months ago
As long as he didn’t eat much, he should be fine. But if you can, check the ingredients to make sure he didn’t eat anything poisonous for bunnies. Just monitor him to make sure he’s doing well. If you notice that he’s not eating/ pooping, or he looks like he’s in pain, definitely take him to the vet.

completely agree with Wick. It looks like a small amount and as long as she is acting normal, it should be fine.

shasbun replied to the topic vitakraft carrot slims?? in the forum DIET & CARE 5 years, 11 months ago
I read the ingredients and saw that it had wheat flour, corn flour, and dehulled soybean meal, so I wouldn’t recommend it. One or two pieces a day shouldn’t be poisonous, but it’s definitely not good for them.

shasbun replied to the topic Hay brands in the forum DIET & CARE 5 years, 11 months ago
I buy Oxbow Western Timothy hay in the 9 pounds size for my bun. It’s packed very tight and doesn’t take up a lot of space. My bunny also goes through it in a month, so it doesn’t last us very long.

shasbun replied to the topic Can Rabbits Eat Lawn Grass?? in the forum HABITATS AND TOYS 5 years, 11 months ago
If it has pesticides, that wouldn’t be safe. Also watch out for lawn clippings, since those are poisonous. And lastly, not all types of grass is safe for bunnies, so just double check what type of grass it is.

Bam replied to the topic E. Cuniculi & Possible Aspiration in the forum RAINBOW BRIDGE 5 years, 11 months ago
I am very sorry for your loss. Aspiration occurs when the bun swallows something and it goes down the wrong way (i e into the windpipe instead of the esophagus). In most other animals, aspiration can also happen due to regurgitation of food f ex during sleep, but not in rabbits, because they cant vomit. This is the reason why you can (and should)…[Read more]

DanaNM replied to the topic Unexplained GI stasis in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 11 months ago
Rabbit medicine has advanced significantly since the 1960s. Prior to that rabbits were not really kept as house pets, and lived fairly short lives when they were. Dogs and rabbits are very different animals as well. Rabbits evolved to reproduce rapidly and early, and not to live long lives, as they are typically killed by a predator fairly young…[Read more]

I just thought of another question related to this: Is there anything I can do to help stop Buddy from dragging or flicking poop out of his litter box when he jumps out?

I everyday think whether she forgave me or not , now I realized that I should forgive myself and to get rid of this guilty. I know she will stay in my heart forever and I don’t want to ignore those happy moments spent with her , she left me memories worth lifetime. I always preserve them in my heart forever .
Thanks for these loving…[Read more]

So sorry for your lose , I’m too still in the pain of losing a loving pet from past 1.5month . I’m also struggling to come out of this pain & trying to forgive myself, I can imagine what you’re through right now.
Don’t take this guilt too long up on you, I know it isn’t easy but come out of this for those 2 lovely buns who need more care from you…[Read more]

Awesome! Thank you all so much for your help!
I am definitely letting him out in a decent size part of the basement so he can just run and do whatever he wants (I boarded up every wall with cardboard and I watch him pretty closely). 🙂
Thank you for the cleaning recommendation. I didn’t really think to much about cleaning the whole water…[Read more]

That seems like a small amount that wouldn’t hurt her. Rabbits tend to get a little bit of everything unfortunately, haha. Just make sure she is eating hay, energetic, and pooping and peeing as usual for the next 24 hours.

Hi guys! Esther just chewed off some of the rubber on my water bottle. I’m not sure if she ate it but I think she did. Will this hurt her? What should I do?

Hello!
I have a 10 month old polish male rabbit named Shippo, He is a free roam boy, neutered, and normally diligent with his potty habits.
However things can’t always be perfect, Shippo has been very clingy to me lately which ends up in him waking me up late at night cuddling or demanding me to pet him. Due to how cute and demanding it is, I…[Read more]
