Charlie has been sneezing much less last couple days and nasal discharge seems to be thinner and not thick white. Dana, they currently have barriers up so they can’t see each other. I’m planning on taking them away in maybe a week or so, to give them time to get used to each other’s smell.

It’s not very deep, just a surface scratch. I think he pulled her fur but it didn’t release and it scratched the skin a bit. It’s not deep, and doesn’t really look like a bite. These things happen, please don’t beat yourself up! I’m sure they will be fine. If you notice they are acting aggressive towards each other, they may do better with more separation between them (such as moving Blaze to another room) or adding opaque barriers.

I’m so sorry for your loss. 😥 You fought so hard for her in a really tough situation. You gave her a wonderful long life and she isn’t in pain anymore.

It’s okay, take a deep breath. Things happen. Rabbits can injure each other severely in a matter of seconds, pulled out fur and a (hopefully) small bite isn’t nearly as bad as it could have been. They’ll be fine, they just need a little time to forget about it.

How deep is the cut on her cheek?

I’m so sorry, I was hopeful that she would pull through. 😥  You did everything you could and fought so hard to get her through this. Don’t blame yourself.

I’m sorry the former owner lied, I guess she wanted to be rid of him and didn’t care. I would still get him neutered, you don’t want to one day find yourself with a suddenly hormonal senior bun that’s too old to be neutered.

What a lucky break that he’s so well behaved though! 🙂
