My Rex is neutered and about 3 years old and he’s not aggressive towards people but if you move something back and forth relatively close to him he will begin to grunt and if you continue will lunge at you. Is this something you can train out of bunnies or it’s just his personality?

Thought I’d give an update on Charlie. We went back to vet today for a recheck per vets request after 7 days on sulfamethoxasile/trimetoprim. Dana, they currently have barriers up so they can’t see each other. I’m planning on taking them away in maybe a week or so, to give them time to get used to each other’s smell.

It’s not very deep, just a surface scratch. I think he pulled her fur but it didn’t release and it scratched the skin a bit. It’s not deep, and doesn’t really look like a bite. These things happen, please don’t beat yourself up! I’m sure they will be fine. If you notice they are acting aggressive towards each other, they may do better with more separation between them (such as moving Blaze to another room) or adding opaque barriers.

It’s okay, take a deep breath. Things happen. Rabbits can injure each other severely in a matter of seconds, pulled out fur and a (hopefully) small bite isn’t nearly as bad as it could have been. They’ll be fine, they just need a little time to forget about it.
How deep is the cut on her cheek?
