Should be fine. I buy 50lbs bales for Oscar, it takes him 7-8 months to eat it all, never had an issue with it going bad. As long as it’s dry, it’s fine. 🙂

I haven’t.. when Milo went for his physical when the problems first arose they checked just his front teeth I believe, and said his teeth looked aligned. I’m not really sure as to why they haven’t recommended this to me but I’m thinking of bringing it up as it seems so weird it’s literally just affecting his one nostril.

If it it is because of his dewlap being wet constantly, then you could also switch to a water bottle (I know, they aren’t the best, but it will keep him from getting wet so much)

Did you ever have his teeth thoroughly checked? I ask because there is another possibility here. Tooth problems, particularly tooth root problems, can cause issues with the sinuses and eyes.

I agree that he might still be a bit too hormonal. More pre-bonding is never a bad thing.

Also, it sounds like maybe you’ve only done 1 or two sessions? Could you fill out the bonding template that’s pinned in this section and paste it in your reply? The bit about what you’ve tried so far in bonding sessions is especially helpful. 🙂
