been reading and wishing a happy outcome for Charlie, sounds like you have a good vet who is willing to work with you. Wishing her much good health soon!! (I know how scary having a sick pet is after having recently lost one, sorry about Buddy <3 )

@bladesmith I can’t see anything on the last link you posted, but the other photos showed up. Dorian agrees with the having to go scavenge on the deck even if it’s freezing and he’s only allowed supervised. What are your two buns names? Love the long stretched out legs 😀
@Louiethebunny – oh no!! Naughty Louie! That said so cute, you got a gang…[Read more]

We decided to just stick with our three for now! Our current three are just so perfectly behaved (in terms of chewing and box habits), we decided we didn’t want to take gamble with adding a new young bun to the mix. Plus I got an update this morning that I might be going to Norway after all!
So let’s hope I can get this trio bonded once we move!…[Read more]

I would say just get a really big litter box with high sides! My fav thing for trios+ are these concrete mixing tubs you can get at the hardware store. They are big enough that all the buns can fit in them at once, and even if someone digs it stays in the box (for the most part). And deep enough that they can’t hang their bums off the side!

LOL!! They are our little mischief-makers, aren’t they? 😆
Spaying should help calm this behavior down, however, it may just be a part of her personality. I have three rabbits, all spayed, and two of them love jumping up on things. 😆 So, they are definitely living proof that spaying sometimes does not take away their love for heights.…[Read more]

My girl Clover is super bossy and sassy and will give me the stink eye and thump or grunt at me if I’m annoying her, but then she loves me so much when I’m not annoying her. Since you have a girl I think you might have a sassy pants bunny on your hands too, but hopefully it’s just a phase!

Dana – Wow!! You have been through quite the time! 😯 Stay safe during your travels!!
Things have been going alright here. The weather is definitely getting a bit chillier, but nothing beats cozying up with your bunnies on a rainy day. 😉
However, my little mischief makers here have been causing some trouble. I have this neutral litter box in…[Read more]

hi everyone!
my bunny and i are going to be going on a five (ish) hour road trip and i have tried so many herbal remedies like chamomile, a few anxiety support stuff from The Well Kept Rabbits, and pet remedy and none of them are really working to calm her down. so i am running out of options and i think i am going to try CBD but i dont know what…[Read more]

Also, not sure how much guidance the vet gave you, but this video is one of the best I’ve found for how to syringe feed:
I like to have the bun on a table, but some prefer their lap instead.
Last thought, have you tried offering the CC on a spoon or a plate? You can…[Read more]

I agree with everything Bam said! You can do it!
He will hate you during, but just know that you are helping him. He will likely become more strongly bonded to you after the ordeal is over. I’ve experienced this with my bunnies as well.
I would def call the vet and ask for pain meds if you aren’t already giving them. They can work wonders with…[Read more]

Oh yes, he did! He became very bonded to me. When I sat at my writing desk, he demanded that I pet his head with my foot, for hours on end. I obviously complied 😂

I emailed the picture of the discharge I found to the vet this morning. He has prescribed another  antibiotic. I think it’s a blend of more than one. The receptionist called me and when I asked her she said zythromyacin? blend. I ask her what that meant and she said probably a blend of more than one. I’ll know more when I pick it up after work…[Read more]

I had a male bun, neutered, that behaved like that when he was a “teenager”. One moment hed growl and lunge, the next he’d put his chin on the floor, demanding pets. Cats can show a similar type of behavior. In cats its believed to be about a conflict between the wild, untrusting side of the animal’s personality and the domesticated, trusting…[Read more]
