A bit THANK YOU to all of you for your time and advice – you have really assuaged my worry and given me hope that all will be well 😊 it’s also made me realise that Tony’s smell may be far more of an issue than I realised and probably I’ve been getting careless about changing every article of clothing between rooms lately. So maybe Phil isn’t…[Read more]

Yeah I tried to reply to my original thread, but when I tried inserting a pic it wouldn’t load in, then it got to the point where when I typed the words were just invisible. So I just thought easiest way would be open another.

yeah I imagine they would, especially the type they are, like a metal. Eek, I would also be annoyed and itching if I were…[Read more]

Hmm, I don’t see a reply to your original thread pending. Weird.

At this point, her stitches are probably getting itchy. It still looks OK in the picture, but I would keep an eye on it. You could try putting some ointment on it so it doesn’t itch as much.

You could also try an e collar alternative like a “body sock”. Basically, you take an old…[Read more]

I’m not sure how this website works, I created a topic yesterday about this but I couldn’t add on to it so I’ll just create a new one.

In my previous topic I just asked if my bunnies incision site looked normal, and according to everyone I had nothing to worry about and I was right in thinking it looked fine.

But, today at some point when I…[Read more]

The poops in the photo don’t look too bad to me, but at 2 months he shouldn’t be having many greens just yet. Usually it’s recommended to wait until 12 months, and then introduce only 1 new veg at a time (usually 1 per week).

Eating greens provides water, and usually means a bit less hay eating, so drinking less is normal. Eating less hay will…[Read more]

my 2month old baby lop boy was producing big golden brown poops. Recently, I changed his litterbox into a new one and started introducing green leaves, cilantro and salad. Since then he started to produce smaller darker poops for 3 days already. I also noticed he drinks less water. Other than that, he is acting fine, eating lots of alfafa and…[Read more]

This is a common injury. As Dana said, as long as it has stopped bleeding it should be fine. Don’t be surprised if the tail falls off (if it hasn’t already).

Sounds like he might have broken a nail? If the bleeding stopped it should be fine, maybe you can check it out when you trim his nails?

Baylor was doing zoomies and his foot started bleeding. His back foot was dripping blood from his toe area, but it stopped very quickly. He is due for a nail trim, so I’m thinking maybe he hit his quick? Anyway, he is eating hay and pellets, flopping over, grooming his foot and the rest of his body, and still does tricks, so I’m assuming he’…[Read more]

We alternate play time vs home time and I think it definitely helps. Everything smells like both rabbits so they kind of get used to it. That would make Tony’s smell on you bother your other bunny less. But the smell might be too much until the 2nd rabbit is spayed. I’m sure the spayed rabbit can smell the hormones on the unspayed rabbit in a way…[Read more]

I’m very sorry for your loss. 🙁

I know it’s easier said than done, but please don’t feel guilty, you were doing everything you could for her and it sounds like something very serious was wrong. We all hope our bunnies will live to 15, but 8-9 is still a nice old age for a bunny. And it’s clear she had a wonderful life with you. <3

We just spent about 12 hours on a date and it went surprisingly well. Both of my boys lost a couple of full mouthfuls of hair but I was able to expand the pen a lot larger than usual and at the end I was able to add the litter box. The box made Clover a bit more aggressive but everyone was holding their poop trying not to go on the floor so I had…[Read more]

I’d always visit the forums on here whenever my little girl was feeling off, or I had questions I wanted to see were shared amongst other bunny humans, etc. and it’s been a long while since I had to go looking for these things. It’s been years since she’s had any issues, and these issues really only related to some stasis concerns. She was so happ…[Read more]

Thanks for the reply! It’s hard to stop her from running and doing binky’s.

She does little ones since she can’t go all out in a larger area like she normally would, I always feel bad stopping her 😥
