I’m glad he started pooping again! Did the vet look into his mouth? Dental problems are common in buns, but you cant see their inner teeth (the molars) without an otoscope. Is he eating normally now?

He went to the vet and is starting to poop again, but now he’s constantly licking his lips at night, I’m not sure if it’s from his medicine or something else.

my rabbit lux for the past 2 years has been eating artificial yogurt dipped hay balls from Kaytee.  Pure yogurt would be bad but this seems to be ok.

It seems like its gotten a little better and not too white.  Its sticky clear liquid but today there was like a little tiny dot of white liquid that was kind of solid.  I moved it out of the way like it was a ball of lint. If it’s very watery (and not mucous-y), then chances are it is one of the things Bam listed. If it were me, I would treat it as though something got in her eye or her tear duct is clogged. If you don’t see improvement, then you can worry about other possibilities.

I wouldn’t be discouraged just yet. As Dana said, sometimes there is a bit of back and forth. He may still be improving, but the icky feeling is still coming and going. Keep doing what you’re doing, I’m sure he will be better soon.

Things can be very up and down with tummy issues. I would syringe feed him and keep up with the pain meds if you can! If you have sub-q fluids that would also be good to do.

well he didn’t eat his banana tonight 🙁  He ate half but left part of it on the floor.  he’s been nibbling all day but I guess not back to himself.  Darn darn darn.

That mix sounds like it would be fine, whatever consistency works with the syringe. I usually aim for the consistency of pancake batter. Watery is OK as it will help get her hydrated, which is important for getting the gut moving. It’s good she will eat some wheat grass.
