Poor Winstons eye are still red after 2 1/2 days of drops, they don’t seem to be doing much. Hopefully things change in the next couple days. 🙁

I don’t plan on breeding them, but like you said I have been rotating their free-roam time. It’s just weird how my girl rabbit somehow got through the grills of the cage and I woke up in the middle of the night with them sleeping side by side. I immediately separated them, but I’m really surprised with how well they get along.

I do hope they have not. It’s only been three days since I took her in and me and my friend are unsure of her age, but I would say maybe around 2 months. My male is turning 5 months so I’m actively looking for a good vet that I could trust.

Grass is great for rabbit feet, but its a good idea to check the thumpers every week for calluses or hair loss anyway, as a part of the weekly “once over”. Yiu may have to fold the hair aon the heels back or to the sides to make sure there are no hidden bald spots.

Hi there! I think that you bunny is a mix! Holland Lops usually weigh around 2-4 lbs and Mini Lops weigh around 5.5 to 6.5. I think that you could have a mix between the two because of his weight. He looks very healthy so he is definitely not over or under weight! My bunny is a Mini Lop and he weighs 5.8 lbs.

I agree with Bam and Wick, it is not poisonous and will not harm you buns! Cardboard can be a fun chew toy but make sure they aren’t eating too much of it, bunnies need nutrients that they can’t get from cardboard or paper!

As Bam mentioned, it’s not poisonous and imminently harmful unless there’s something on the cardboard or too much is being ingested that deters the rabbit from eating hay. One of my rabbits is an avid cardboard eater, but at the same time she is an avid willow branch and hay eater, so I am not too concerned when she eats a hole from a cardboard tube.

If you cannot spay/neuter the rabbits, they will need to be separated. As a general note, talking about intentional breeding is prohibited on these forums, so if that is something you are considering, we ask that you do not discuss that on this forum.
