As Bam said, it’s probably just plant pigment. I wouldn’t worry too much about dehydration. If he has water, he will drink it eventually. Bunnies in the wild get moisture from the plants they eat. You could try serving his greens wet to help boost the water content.

How old is she? Are they sure she’s a girl?

As for the peeing… hmm, did they send her home with pain meds?

Bunnies sleep a lot during the day. They are most active early in the morning and in the evening. As for it being too cold, as long as she is inside, she will be fine. Bunnies tend to prefer cooler conditions… just not freezing conditions.

Small update. Finished with the settling in, swapping bowls and toilets now as suggested. No issues. Actually, Pi stopped doing business on the couch, so there’s even an improvement. I’m really hopeful.

Hey guys, I took my bunny to get spayed a month ago, the vet called and told me that there’s no uterus.. she could’ve been spayed before I got her, or she was born that way..

after the surgery she started to pee outside of the litter box.. she was well trained before, and it’s not a hormonal thing since she doesn’t have a uterus.. what could b…[Read more]

Oops… where I said there is a very high chance he did that though-I meant there is a very high chance that he is sleeping when he does that though (the squinty eyes, and teeth grinding)

Yes he has a a water bowl but rarely drinks out of it. I’m not really sure what I can do to make him drink more.

Hi again @Moonlightbunny66, and happy Holidays!

I’m sorry that you have to go through this, especially since its Christmas Eve! 😥 I can relate to you so much with what your describing about your bun. Also, with the squinty eye thing, and teeth grinding. Noodle had the same thing when his poops were all messed up as well! It’s gotten better…[Read more]

OB has been having some very odd shaped poops. They come in a variety of sizes, most of them small. The thing that really concerns me the most, is how dry they are. Is there something I should do to make them a bit moister, and bigger?

    Thank you all in advance!!

I made the mistake of giving Pinky a blueberry the other day (I felt bad because I gave one to Muffin). It was only a tiny blueberry but it made his poops wet again.

For a while, it wasn’t as bad as it used to be. Some nights he will leave poops all over the pen, other nights it’ll be a little pile or two. They’re still all different sizes, odd s…[Read more]

Hmmm I have two big water bowls I refill morning and night. It would still smell when he would pee on the floor. The pee hasn’t smelled like this in a while though! So whatever it was has stopped.

I’ll keep this stuff in mind if it happens again, thank you!

My two rabbits have had snuffles for the past few months. They’ve been through two rounds of different antibiotics, but the symptoms haven’t stopped. I ordered VetRx for rabbits to treat their symptoms. I plan to take them to the vet again soon, but I’d like to try treating their symptoms with this for now. If anyone has used VetRx on their…[Read more]

pinkiemarie replied to the topic VENT: Trying to convince someone NOT to get a bunny in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 8 months ago

Hay allergies are extremely common. I would strongly suggest that they bring home hay, leave it out in the open in the house, and have every member of the home handle it with bare hands daily before they get the rabbit. The allergies alone might be enough to dissuade them if you can get them to do it. I used to have massive sneezing attacks that…[Read more]
