My two rabbits have had snuffles for the past few months. They’ve been through two rounds of different antibiotics, but the symptoms haven’t stopped. I ordered VetRx for rabbits to treat their symptoms. I plan to take them to the vet again soon, but I’d like to try treating their symptoms with this for now. If anyone has used VetRx on their bunnies before, can you please describe how you administered it? The instructions say to put two drops in each side of the nostril… does this mean outside of their nostrils (just below or around) or inside? I’m confused about whether the liquid is supposed to be placed on the nostrils so that they breathe it straight in or the liquid goes around the nostril so that they only breathe the scent in. It sounds like it’s literally supposed to be placed inside the nostril, but that seems like it might be wrong and painful. Please please help me out. One of the rabbits is 11 years old and the other one is 2 years old. The 11 year old one is having difficulty breathing and makes loud whimpering noises through his nose. He sounds like a puppy. Any advice will help, thank you!!

The instructions from VetRx say: “Dosage: Snuffles/Pneumonia – 2 warm drops in each nostril and to any scabbed area 2-3 times daily until symptoms disappear”

I’m sorry no one replied to your thread. How are things going for your rabbit?
