Hi again @Moonlightbunny66, and happy Holidays!
I’m sorry that you have to go through this, especially since its Christmas Eve! 😥 I can relate to you so much with what your describing about your bun. Also, with the squinty eye thing, and teeth grinding. Noodle had the same thing when his poops were all messed up as well! It’s gotten better…[Read more]

OB has been having some very odd shaped poops. They come in a variety of sizes, most of them small. The thing that really concerns me the most, is how dry they are. Is there something I should do to make them a bit moister, and bigger?
Thank you all in advance!!

I made the mistake of giving Pinky a blueberry the other day (I felt bad because I gave one to Muffin). It was only a tiny blueberry but it made his poops wet again.
For a while, it wasn’t as bad as it used to be. Some nights he will leave poops all over the pen, other nights it’ll be a little pile or two. They’re still all different sizes, odd s…[Read more]

Hmmm I have two big water bowls I refill morning and night. It would still smell when he would pee on the floor. The pee hasn’t smelled like this in a while though! So whatever it was has stopped.
I’ll keep this stuff in mind if it happens again, thank you!

My two rabbits have had snuffles for the past few months. They’ve been through two rounds of different antibiotics, but the symptoms haven’t stopped. I ordered VetRx for rabbits to treat their symptoms. I plan to take them to the vet again soon, but I’d like to try treating their symptoms with this for now. If anyone has used VetRx on their…[Read more]

pinkiemarie replied to the topic VENT: Trying to convince someone NOT to get a bunny in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 8 months ago
Hay allergies are extremely common. I would strongly suggest that they bring home hay, leave it out in the open in the house, and have every member of the home handle it with bare hands daily before they get the rabbit. The allergies alone might be enough to dissuade them if you can get them to do it. I used to have massive sneezing attacks that…[Read more]

Red pee is as a rule the result of plant pigments in the food. Rabbits can also produce red pee spontaneously.
The pee is often a lighter color when it exits the body, and oxidises to a deeper orange or red within sth like 20 minutes after having been exposed to air.
Here is some info from the HRS, a trusted…[Read more]

Hello to anyone who reads this, I recently got Sawyer, my 2 month old lop, on 12/23/20 and I am worried about the color of his pee.
His previous owner had given me a quart sized Ziploc bag full of pellets to help transition him to the new food I would be giving him. Anywho, I’ve only been feeding him a monitored amount of pellets and unlimited…[Read more]

Is it the bark? Or lichen? Either way, it’s fine. It isn’t harmful.

I like to supervise for at least the first 48 hours in each new territory. Assuming they are all still together in neutral? I think as long as you are in ear-shot you should be fine.
