I hope this is the right topic forum to put my question in. Anyway, my mom wants to know if there’s something that we can put on top of carpet to clean it easier and to keep it clean. I saw some people use some kind of plastic tile around their litter boxes, could we use something like that?

alright, I will try to clamp cardboard to his new litter box before giving it to him and see how that works out. šŸ™‚

I know that I can buy the disposable litter boxes online for about $13 per 3 pack, but he chews and rips them up so much that it would be too expensive for me to keep replacing them once every week or two.

*Health question template for this forum is below the explanation of my reason for posting, my concerns, and my questions*

    Questions in a nutshell:Ā
    – What’s the minimum amount of time to wait between administering flea treatments which are designed to be given monthly? (Rabbit is small lionhead, 1.1kg/2.4 lbs, and a senior bun 8y/o)
    – Are there…[Read more]

He really is a beautiful dog and is so smart! He does have a super strong prey drive and points naturally, so I don’t think he would be a good fit for us at all. I do think he should go to someone who will hunt with him… it’s just what he really wants to do and I think he will be amazing with proper training. I think now that he’s getting some…[Read more]

I’ve noticed this happening for a while. The bunnies have plushies in their pen that I gave them. It’s mostly Muffin that does this, but Pinky does it too. After they drink water, they groom a plushie for a few seconds or 20 seconds. I put a plushie next to the water bowls so it’s more convenient lol. I’m just wondering why they do this? Does an…[Read more]

I imagine he was chewing the old boxes a lot because they are basically cardboard. Even if he chews the new one, it’s not likely he will bite off and swallow whole pieces. But sometimes the chewing can make sharp edges on the plastic which can be worrisome. I have had success clamping cardboard to the edges of the box so that my bun chewed that…[Read more]

Slower introductions are not a bad idea, but they can be in the same room if necessary. I recommend that bun has a safe zone that the cat is not allowed into (such as a pen or condo that can be closed). You might also consider a crate for the cat at first when they aren’t being supervised.

The vet said he may have had an insect bite or eaten something that punctured his lip and that developed into an infection that he just couldn’t beat. We caught it at its earliest possible moment, but it was just too much.

It’s crazy how quickly you become attached to them, and how fast they become a part of your heart, even when you didn’t go lo…[Read more]

I bought the smallest cat litter box they had which also had, I would say, medium height walls? Not Really low and not really high. Even so he still likes to chew whatever he can (Litter boxes, carpets, anything wooden, cardboard, etc..) so I’m still a little worried giving him this particular litter box.

Thank you both for the advice! Just an update;Ā we’ve been having supervised play dates in the bathroom (a neutral area); Cloud is still pretty skittish and running away a lot but no fighting so I classed that as progress. On advice from the vet, I bought Pet Remedy calming spray and tried it today. I’ve never used it before so was quite scep…[Read more]

I’m so sorry šŸ™ it sounds like Snickerdoodle will have great company though.

Sometimes things happen very suddenly and despite best care and being attentive, we can’t prevent everything. Perhaps snickerdoodle had an underlying condition that wasn’t at all perceivable until it was too late.

    Binky free~

I woke up to find Snickerdoodle doing very poorly (he was perfectly fine when I went to bed). I immediately took him to the vet.

However, he was too far gone, and I decide it was time for him join George.

Buddy is adorable! I love the ticked colored ones, Otis is so dark that you can hardly even see his patches. Looks like Buddy has a little kissy spot on his forehead like Otis. šŸ˜‰

Otis is from hunting lines too, and while he definitely has the energy you’d expect, he doesn’t seem to be a born hunter. He doesn’t really care about birds and he…[Read more]
