I wasn’t sure which forum to put this in. I was wondering how not to step on the bunnies at night? I want to free roam them in my room in the near future (can’t get the supplies I want right now bc of covid). I get up a lot in the night so I don’t want to step on the bunnies. They like to lay all over my room and sleep lol. I was thinking of using…[Read more]

Oh you can also make them look pretty with choosing the blankets (mine are from the dollar store), memory foam mats, and/or rugs. Pinterest has some nice ideas on pretty x pens, just make sure whatever you put in there is totally safe and your bunny has comfortable flooring! 🙂

I like x pens (dog play pens) because you can make different shapes and move it around if you rearrange your room. You can also use it as bunny proofing if you ever decide to change the enclosure or free roam in your room. I got mine on Amazon, it said there were used ones available and they were cheaper so I bought those and they work great. 36…[Read more]

I do agree that she’s probably not a dwarf. She doesn’t really resemble any specific breed so I think she may be some sort of cross-bred bun?

You can get some of the nic cubes for easy bunny proofing. It isn’t necessarily the most pretty decorating but it keeps both your electronics and your bunny safe 🙂
Edit: I couldn’t upload a picture of the mess under my tv so I’m linking to a photo on another site. Not pretty but it keeps the buns out so they can have their play…[Read more]

You can use the exercise pen by itself or with the cage. If you use it with the cage, the cage would be left open (with a ramp, if needed) and bunny can come and go as he pleases. Then you can open the exercise pen to let him run around the room while supervised. Same concept if you use the exercise pen by itself. The pen would essentially be his…[Read more]

On a sort of unrelated note oxbow has been putting out new lines of rabbit products and I got a water bottle that was defective. I contacted them and they seemed very concerned and interested about the quality of the bottle, which made me feel good about the quality of the food.

I have canvas from an art store and it has been great. Some art stores have it in big rolls and you can just get at much at you need and it isn’t very expensive (we got ours at the University book store). Then just throw a sheet on top for easier cleaning.

Can you post a picture?
Two possibilities: 1) Infection of the nail bed, 2) Sore “hocks” (yes, it can occur on front toes).

So we recently got some canvas from the University book store and it’s working great! It’s hard for them to rip up, they have to pee a lot for if to soak through, and you can throw a sheet over it to keep it cleaner. My BF bought it so I don’t know the exact details but I think it was from the art section of the bookstore on a big roll.. It wasn’t…[Read more]

Hey! I’m from MT too! I have a 2 story 48 inch condo from Leith petworks with a dog pen on the front, but those houses are expensive and you really don’t have to get anything that costly. The nic cubes are a good option. If you Google it I think they’re are a lot of pictures out there. Or depending on how much space you have even a dog pen with a…[Read more]

Thanks DanaNM! I wasn’t sure if Muffin would even try to get into a cat tunnel since they’re small. They won’t go into hidey houses that are a bit smaller than them! I ordered a kids tunnel so I guess we’ll see how it goes. 😆 If they don’t like it then the cats can play with it and maybe I’ll look at those concrete tubes!

I was checking out bentley’s nail today and noticed there was a growth/possible inflammtion on one of his front toes. I tried to get a picture but he did not want to stay still so I will try later. He is still running at full force and not licking it. The vet I use is not small animal certified so I will be looking for another vet and book an…[Read more]

Hi everyone! I had a minor breakthrough this morning and I just wanted to share. I’m going on 2 years of slow bonding and the little black rabbit is no longer aggressive but the white rabbit is. This morning he gave her a little smooch on the forehead and she pancaked. She pancaked!
