Thanks DanaNM! A red night light sounds cool, I’ll look into it.

Thank you DanaNM. What is your bottle called? Does it work well? I’ve tried drying his chin off before but it will always be damp. ):

Hi and very welcome to Binky Bunny!
Hamsters are extremely cute!
It’s very wise to do research before you get a pet, regardless of what pet you are planning on getting. I hope you’ll find the BB forums useful!

LOL I was going to recommend shuffling as well! I’ve also found that when I get up in the night my night vision is pretty good so I can usually see them with whatever ambient light there is. I’ve also used a red night light that is nice on your eyes at night and doesn’t seem to bother the buns at all.

Hi everybody! I just made a account to talk about bunnies! I currently do not have any but I am thinking to adopt one in a few years!! Few years seem like a lot but I want to make full research before getting some rabbits! I have two hamsters named Cheesepuffs and Coconut and some of you may know me from the Hamster Hideout forum!

How long ago was she spayed? Rabbits can go through a post-spay “craze” around 6-8 weeks after spaying which can make them somewhat territorial/aggressive.
In general though, many rabbits don’t like you “messing with their stuff”, so it’s best to do cleaning and rearranging when they aren’t in the cage/pen.

I would just try getting a few bottles and putting them all up in multiple places to encourage drinking. I think they are all bound to leak a bit when you fist put it up, I have mine up over a bowl so it leaks into the bowl. Maybe you could also offer a bowl a few times during the day and just dry his chin off afterwards?

Reading so many bad reviews for every water bottle I click on. Either leaks too much or the water is too hard to get out… ):

So we got some results back and they said the Sulfatrim should clear it up and we asked to get 7 more days worth of it to add onto the 7 days we got to try to make sure it’s totally gone. I asked about the water bottle and they said it’s worth a try so we can eliminate the water bowls being an issue (his chin getting wet). Any suggestions on wat…[Read more]

We got our rabbit at the end of August last year. She was doing great up until we got her spayed and now she has become very aggressive towards when we move things around in her enclosure and feed her. We have her cage where she spends her time when we are away and when we sleep and a larger pen for her to roam around during the day. She is…[Read more]

I agree with Wick that the NIC condos should be accompanied with an x-pen. Since they are ground animals and wide floor space on the floor is better than floor space going up. Although, it can be a fun little extra and a nice hiding space. My bunnies love to run in and out of their x pen when they have the energy! Sometimes they even run through…[Read more]

Night light and shuffle your feet when walking! Over time, you’ll get used to it, haha.

I honestly don’t know if I posted this topic or not because I don’t see it anywhere. Either ways, hi, I’m Chloe and I have no bunnies. I am thinking on getting two bunnies but that depends on the situation we are at the time. I am getting them in a few YEARS. I’m setting it to a few years just because I don’t want to give them a bad/stressful…[Read more]

I am a fan of NIC cages, but it is important to get good quality grids, connectors, and add support. Also, I think NIC grid cages should always be accompanied by an Xpen as well (since NIC are grids, it’s easy to just clip on an xpen for larger space). I think it’s a good option, as an NIC cage on its own is likely too small for long enclosure…[Read more]

Sounds like a plan! The concrete tubes are nice because they come in different sizes.
