It is extremely difficult to provide information on healthy weight online. There are weight estimations based on breed, we never really know what combo of breeds are in our rabbits that will make them stray/adhere to those estimates. This is tough. A part of me says, well, if it’s dry and your rabbits aren’t intimately licking the tiles day in and out, it’s probably fine. That being said, maybe there are fumes that they can smell that we can’t, and is there any potential consequences to walking on it daily, in terms of adverse contact reactions.

It is a fun thread! My bun often jumps into my lap to energetically chin my hands and face, but he doesnt settle down for pets. For pets, he prefers to lie next to me on the sofa.

The most important features of a good feeding syringe is the size (diameter and lenght) of the tip.

Hi wmiller! This is a VERY old thread. We encourage people not to respond to old threads because it can cause confusion, especially if someone is looking for help. Since this thread is more “fun”, I’m going to leave it open for now. It’s great that your bunny willingly got into your lap. Most people aren’t so lucky. 😉

I joined some NY rabbit groups on Facebook and was able to meet other owners. They told me their vet recommendations and experiences. Maybe you could try that? Or you could try asking rabbit rescues in your area for recommendations.
