Hi there, I feel your pain, I recently attempted a quad and the males were fighting so badly I called it quits (I got a bite on my hand that my thumb is still numb from). Unfortunately it is pretty common for the  current pair to split when trying a trio, especially after a bad fight during bonding. I wouldn’t say it’s hormones necessarily,…[Read more]

Maybe NIC grid tunnels? I think you need to put a piece of cardboard on top in case the bunny jumps on it (so no feet get caught). And put a blanket over it so it looks nice. I don’t have experience with NIC grids so I don’t know how to make them sturdy. Just an idea!

They seem kinda expensive to me though, but maybe something similar is available online.

Don’t know if this will help, but I ended up purchasing those transparent PVC floor protectors (you know those long sheets that you put desk chairs on to protect the floor. Search for something like: “Large office chair mat floor protector” and you’ll see what i mean). I have hardwood floors so i bought one for hardwood floors. They sell them in…[Read more]

Hey guys. I’d like to give my rabbit a tunnel that can go from one area to another inside my home. When I look up rabbit tunnels online, they are all these really flimsy fold up plastic types, and I’m sure she’d chew threw it in about 5 minutes.. I looked around online and found some ideas for DIY tunnels: drainage pipe, even concrete form tubes.…[Read more]

I think I would put down mats or rugs instead with blankets on top. I really don’t like taking any risks like that lol. Mine drip water after they drink but the blanket dries up pretty quickly.

I use unscented detergent. I’ve heard the scented ones aren’t good for them and I don’t think they like it anyway (too smelly for their face to be so close to all the time). I also don’t use dryer sheets.

Are you sure she’s a dwarf? 1kg sounds on the large side for a 4 month old dwarf, so I’m wondering if it’s another small breed or maybe a false dwarf. Don’t limit her food too much based on dwarf standards if she’s truly a full kg in weight. If you’re just rounding up then maybe she is. Like said above, pellets and hay since shecs still growing…[Read more]

I agree with them, but if you’re still concerned it never hurts to give the vet a quick call to set your mind at ease.

Yes, unlimited pellets are fine when they are growing. Unlimited within reason though, of course. She needs to eat hay too.

Her ear length and face shape suggest false dwarf (or a mix). She’s super cute though!

A little extra protein never hurt anyone. 😉

Seriously though, if it is a pickleworm then it is Lepidoptera. In other words, they are baby moths. They do not parasites to animals. The larva would not survive being eaten.
