    Hi,

It’s probably on the link but I used a lot of wood boards from the hardware store to block baseboards and under things. I used wider planks to block off my bed, and attached with double sided mounting tape. It looks decent. I have wood planks along the baseboards, and either stuck smaller wood planks with the mounting tape on the door frames…[Read more]

I think a lot of folks like the Oxbow Garden Select if they are trying to stay away from certain ingredients. Oxbow adult essentials is very popular as well.

If you want to get into the weeds comparing brands, this chart shows most of the major brands and nutritional break…[Read more]

I’ve done some research and I think I’ll stick with pellets, I’ll just get off of the farming brands since Jumping Jack is overweight as is. I don’t need her eating a ton of molasses and grains and whatnot for meat and breeding rabbits.

I think the PetSmart in Bozeman sells Oxbow Garden Select pellets. I hear good things and have done some…[Read more]

For the last year, I have been buying Standlee hay. Their hay always is fresh, green, and smelt amazing. They are pretty decently priced and the only issue I’ve ever had is a tiny bit of dust but shaking the hay outside works to get rid of this. My rabbit always goes crazy for this hay, I recommend this brand.

I see! We did another bathtub session yesterday (1/25/21, about an hour) and I tried to be a bit more strict with the reverse mounting in case Theo realized and then bit Alfredo’s sensitive areas. There was still a lot of humping but less than the day before. Alfredo has started trying to groom Theo! Though Theo shows no desire to groom back…[Read more]

Another good flooring option could be puzzle play mats. These are waterproof and soft so they will prevent sore hocks. Im also from Montana and would love to become a vet too.

Do you make it in to Bozeman often? I believe the PetSmart there carries oxbow essentials which is kind of expensive, but since you’ll only feel like 1/4 cup per day it will last quite a while with one rabbit. I usually pay about $20 I think for a 10 lb bag and it lasts me over a month with 3 rabbits. If not you can order it or a variety of other…[Read more]

I want to share a couch guard I created from spare grids I had from building Wick and Fable’s cages, in case anyone would find it useful.

    Required supplies:

    • 6 grids
    • 8 connectors
    • 2 grid doors + 2 connectors (optional)

The optional door wings can help adjust to larger couches, but if you have a small one, it’s not needed!

    When built, it…[Read more]

update: I bring sid in the house every day to get exercise for around 3 hours or more (and usually 5+ hours during the weekend). I surprised him with a lovely salad including his normal spring greens, alongside some little gem lettuce and celery. I’m currently on the hunt for where I can get fresh herbs, but so far Sid went jumping for it! T…[Read more]

Great!! I will definitely think about adding some more herbs in there, I’ve noticed that he’s quite fond of mint and cilantro…  so a salad type mix would probably sound like heaven to him ! Thanks for the help guys :))

Whatever he is, he is beautiful so it doesn’t really matter to me. I was trying to get quotes for insurance and this particular company wants to know their breeds. I’m visiting a vet with them today so we shall see what they have to say too.

I think he is some kind of dwarf x harlequin too! Especially because those darker markings!

    I’m sorry you lost her.

Its highly likely there was something really wrong with her that caused her to stop suckling.

    Thank you .

I couldn’t save her , kitten replacement formula is not available here , we have very limited pet stores which have only puppy milk formula . I tried for goat milk too , no exotic vet available. She was unable to use her hind legs & had seizures too , its just only 1 month , I lost her 😢

She was fine till a day ago but unexpectedly…[Read more]

I agree with Dana. There are several great pellets out there now, including “fewer ingredients” varieties. The pellets have vitamins and minerals to make sure bunny is getting everything they need.

If you are able, you can go pellet-free. But you have to be able to provide a WIDE variety of veggies and hay. Otherwise, your bunny may not be…[Read more]
