Unfortunately, it’s hard to identify what type of wood that is unless you have photos of the tree it came from, its type of leaves, etc.? It’s also important to know if pesticide spraying is common or not in that area. I am no good at identifying wood based on photos unfortunately 🙁

Hi!
I can’t identify this piece of wood. I hope someone else can. There are some trees and shrubs that are poisonous, for example laburnum and oleander. Do you know what types of trees grow in those woods? What part of the world are you in?

Oh, about the chewing: Rabbits chew. There are chew toys that you can buy. If you have access to fresh twigs or small branches from willow or pesticide free apple trees (or rowan, gazel, aspen, linden and several more types of trees), you can give her that. An upside down cardboard box with two door holes cut out on either side works well as both…[Read more]

Hi and welcome to Binky Bunny!
First off, a healthy bun will act like it is starving. Rabbits are extremely food-oriented, and that is normal.
For a baby bun like your Toffee, the House Rabbit Society recommends unlimited pellets, preferably alfalfa-based. They also recommend unlimited alfalfa hay. It is however good to try and get the bun to…[Read more]

I also forgot to mention that she chew the door to the pallets place like crazy although she’s not a chewer -yet?-

I’m concerned about her teeth and what if she ingested it

I’m really not sure what to do
-

Hello everyone! New Bunny mama is here

First here’s a brief summary about my adorable Bunny Toffee:

She’s 3 months old I got her when she was 2 months and I didn’t have any experience/knowledge of Rabbits before then,

You’re welcome! Yes the poop and pee wars can be challenging but once they are bonded it should go back to normal 🙂

I’ve been wondering if the average life span of rabbits would be higher of only people who care for them properly are included.
I hope the move goes well, keep us posted. A big van and everyone together will hopefully be enough to keep it bearable for everyone.
My cat did those things too! He would act like he wanted to try and bond with Elmer…[Read more]

LBJ10 replied to the topic Head tilting upwards? in the forum BEHAVIOR 5 years, 8 months ago
Does he always look up? Because in the video, it just looks like normal eating hay behavior. Sometimes the strands of hay are long/tangled and rabbits will give a tug with their head while trying to eat it.

i attached a video of my bunny above, eating hay. He has ear mites and i was wondering if this could be a head tilt resulting from an ear infection? His head is not tilting to one side, but is instead almost making it look like he’s just looking up. It has only happened 4 times during the day. If it is head tilt, what can I do to help him??

The mini rex is about 3 or 4 months old now. I think Im going to make a vet appointment anyway so they can check what sex it is and possibly schedule the surgery! Really hoping I can get these two bonded once they are both fixed.
