A general rule is that the temp difference between outdoors and indoors temp shouldnt be over 10 degrees C (18 degrees F) plus or minus.

If the rabbit is only going to be outside for sth like 15 minutes, the temp diff can be a bit bigger. (Some buns really enjoy to go out and dig around in snow).

Do you have any suggestions on how I can make modifications? They have a pen indoors, a low pile rug that covers most of it to minimize any abrasive carpeting.
