No, no lines or patterns. Normal drop of yellow urine. Would it not do it to other carpets if it has a urinary tract infection?
I don’t want to neuter but i do if i have to.

Oh, that’s interesting about poop transplantations. Science is just starting to learn about gut biome, and it’s very complex.
Breintje once ate a couple of pellets of two other buns. They were in the bedroom during New Year’s Eve: we often have friends over who have buns too. I thought I’d cleaned up after them properly.

Our bun does this too when he accidentally dropped something in the wrong place: he eats the hard poop pellets.
Sometimes he lets a couple of poops go when he’s napping, or when he wasn’t fast enough for the litter box. He notices it when he wakes up, or walks back after going to the box.
Rabbits are surprisingly cleanly, even though eating poop…[Read more]

Spraying can happen anywhere — It is a very effective technique by unfixed rabbits to spread their scent around. They will not do it all the time (they pee normally too), but it’s a method of territorial marking. Unfortunately, if it is spraying, the only thing to do to stop it is have your rabbit neutered by a rabbit-experienced vet. It is a…[Read more]

@Bam: It looks like another skill just has been added to my wishlist 😉
Thank you for the well-wishes! I’ve recently started with a series of treatments in the hospital, they have a department which specialises in hand and lower arm rehabilitation. My physio was happy that I could get an appointment there so soon, she has good experiences with…[Read more]

Male and not sterilized. But it doesn’t spray pee at all. My bunny has no aggression. A very kind rabbit. Is spraying done on the carpet?

Is your bunny a male and is he neutered? Tiny pee spots could be from spraying. Though I think females can spray as well.

Hey folks, wanted to run a question by you. My bunny has a rather large enclosure. I have not done a very good job of mopping it and want to start mopping it properly so it’ll be clean for her. I know to use just a simple vinegar solution as that is safe for her. But i’m in a conundrum about how to actually do the mopping. I figured you guys might…[Read more]

Hi, I have 6 months old Holland dwarf rabbit. I gave toilet training. But sometimes I see small drops of pee on the carpet. There’s only pee drops on the carpet in his nest. My bunny never does it to the carpets outside. Pee color is normal. I’m watching my bunny while it pisses. My bunny body posture while peeing is also normal. Veterinary checks…[Read more]

Thank you for the replies! I wanted to give an update. I ended up going with that thing I saw on Amazon and it’s working beautifully. I was worried it would be too small to get his mouth in but he’s drinking lots of water with it ! I installed a shelf on the side of the cage and drilled a hole for the nozzle. It’s perfect.
I wanted to add pictu…[Read more]
