Hello! I’m not an expert at all, but I would keep them together and try to not end on a bad note. Maybe something spooked them and you can get back to where you were and decide from there if you want to continue with your plan?
Also I feel your pain. Very disappointing especially after so many hours of doing well.

Little one is Oscar and bigger is Oliver. Oliver is the one that is claiming dominance. Since they came out to eat Oliver started to chase Oscar a little and he ran off and thumped and Oliver left him alone after that. Will keep today going with 100 percent supervision now. I’m guessing it’s good they are moving around and eating, Oscar is just…[Read more]

I have kept the session going. They have come out and are nibbling some food i sprinkled in the middle. Hoping this is just something they need to work through

Ok new update… ugh…..
the boys were about two hours in today and I went to the bathroom and hear a scuffle and came running in to a chasing mess and some fur. I stopped them and they ran to their boxes and are still in them. Should I keep the session going and let them stay in them hide boxes till they settle or end? I’m so bummed. I know I have…[Read more]

Haha, Apollo looks like an angora 😍
I have no idea why the same bun can have such different type sheds. My Snöa looked horrible from June to September last year, I was almost afraid she’d never go back to being pretty again. She did though!
Her recent shed was not at all as dramatic, but it still gave her tummy trouble (I think shedding and…[Read more]

Oh, great!
You can put on some plain neosporin (the kind without an added painkiller) or triple antibiotic cream, if you think it’s necessary.

Those pictures! They look worse than my buns! lol. I always call them scraggly when they are shedding.
For some reason my Ruby always gets super soft around her lower back when she sheds so I call her soft butt!! 🙂

Such cute pictures! I love the fluffs and their set up! They look so happy.
I can’t figure out the photos on here lately so making folders in Drive. I have some recent bonding pics, Snoopy sleeping like his weirdo self foot on mouth and bunnies in hats!

Hi there!
I would just be careful because I’ve heard of so many accidental litters! I think it may be hard to tell, and once those hormones hit you could not only have an unexpected pregnancy but a big fight and with that size difference I agree it’s scary. I’ve seen some bun fights and they can really get vicious. One of mine got into the others…[Read more]

I’ve had my 4 year old Flemish for almost a year. I just got my 2 month old lionsmane last night. They snuck into each other’s pens (somehow?!?!) and got along fine even though I was planning on letting my lionsmane Chai get bigger and neutering my Flemish before introducing them. Both unaltered and different breed and ages but got along jus…[Read more]

Ok, I will see if my local vet is free on Monday.
I tried to clean it with saline and it’s gotten considerably better. The lump is not as big now.

Bam replied to the topic red spot in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 2 years, 1 month ago
I can’t say if this is an emergency -we are not vets here and can’t give veterinary advice.
If the lump suddenly grows considerably, or if the irritated area suddenly becomes (an abscess can sometimes can do that), it could be an emergency (risk of bursting), or if the irritated area suddenly extends in area and becomes wet, but otherwise I t…[Read more]

Update. Luna is falling apart in clumps, Apollo is slowly dissolving. On the plus side he is softer than a cloud right now because his guard hairs have shed leaving the super soft undercoat exposed.
Definitely the worst shed I’ve ever seen from either of them. What that means for the weather, I don’t know.
