Yeah, I think you could go back to 1/4 cup and see how he does. Maybe now that he’s got a taste for hay he will have higher hay intake.

Ah, This is the problem. The only one i can hold. My bunny doesn’t like hold. I tried by awarding, still did not like hold. I cannot hold my bunny unless I have to.

My vet had me do this once. I mixed then into a little critical care and syringe fed them. My vet called it a “poop shake” lol

I think saw dust would be messy and could cause respiratory problems. Compressed pine pellets are probably a safer option. If he’s kept in a pen, I think there should be plenty of air circulating.
